Product is good.

First of all, this product is a Made in China product and this information was not provided anywhere on the product page. I particularly purchased this product believing that it would be manufactured in India as the company is registered in India. However, I found that the product was Made in China after delivery.Second, the MRP is not mentioned anywhere on the product and I feel that this product is overpriced compared to what it does and its functionality.About the Product:The product quality and look and feel is very good. It did it's job without any problem. I was able to find out that one of the socket was improperly wired with the help of this device. It is a simple device and the LED output can be compared to the information printed right on the device to find the exact fault. There is also a small button with which you can test the RCCB or the GFCI device in your house. When you press this button, the RCCB/GFCI should trip disconnecting the power-supply to entire house or to that room or socket(depending on the wiring). This functionality will work only when your house is equipped with RCCB/GFCI else pressing this button will not do anything.I am giving 1 star because of concealed information about the product, not mentioning its MRP and the product being overpriced at least by a factor of 2.

This product has a base that is too wide for standard electrical outlet. The base overlaps a bit on to the switches on either side of the socket making if nearly impossible to flip the switches. In my case the switch controlling the socket could not be flipped to test properly. I am using a Legrand socket and switch. In the 2nd picture I inserted a standard 3-pin adapter with correct base size and that fits correctly over the socket without overlapping on to switches next it, allowing proper operation. This is how the tester base must be.Another socket tester from MX came with pins that are so close that they do not fit into Indian sockets. So far two products with incorrect dimensions. I am disappointed why resellers cannot obtain correct sizes for Indian market.
