Mohawk Lacquer for Brass Matte 13 oz

Used it on some outdoor brass ornaments. Still holding up 4 months later without discoloring.

The product didn’t work that great.

I bought this to protect my very expensive copper and brass mermaid weathervane from getting the patina look…well this spray caused brown spots on the copper and yellow circles on the brass. I cried!!! I would have chosen the patina over this. It took me hours of scrubbing with Barkeepers Friend powder to get what I could off of the higher points of the piece, I couldn’t get into the crevices to remove. I am heartbroken. I wouldn’t give it one star.

After painstakingly cleaning and polishing all my brass door knobs & hardware, sprayed this lacquer on to prevent future tarnish instead gave it all a dull finish. Who knows if it will prevent the tarnish.
