BEST SHAVER EVER!!!!To any reading this I am an African-American male getting ready to depart for basic training on Jan 13th (todays date of this review is Oct 12th) I have always had problems with the usage of regular razors and getting razor bumps. However, being clean shaven is part of the requirements and with the pay and duty requirements for regular enlisted I knew I wouldnt be able to go to the barber every other day to stay smooth.I searched literally for a week before deciding on which particular shaver to buy. I looked at the top expensive models from Braun and Panasonic but couldnt quite bite the bullet cuz of the price tag. After I figured out that I wouldn't spend more than 100 bucks I started looking at features of each specific razor. Keep reading:The thing that caught my eye about this is the Interceptor Shaving Technology. Basically it has a built in trimmer in between the two foils that will cut hair longer than stubble to stubble length. Every other foil shaver and even rotary shaver I looked at did not have this feature. And even my barber told me that with electric shavers you really have to not let the hair get longer than stubble or else they wont work. This appealed to me as more of a preventative and unique measure but still very beneficialI originally received this razor on Sept 24th and I have been using it for about 2 and a half weeks and have been using it without fail ever since. In my case a couple weeks before I received it I stopped shaving because I had to let my face heal from trying to use a regular razor so I had about a solid 1/16th inch of hair covering my face. I unboxed it, read the instructions, and it took about 8-10 mins but the result was like I had shaven with a razor. I had no whiskers or stray hairs anywhere and my skin felt baby smooth and not irritated!I have been using it ever since without fail and still NO RAZOR BUMPS only baby smooth skin!!It's cordless so all you have to do is make sure it's charged before you use it. Some tips:1)Don't use alot of pressure when shaving.2)DO NOT go in circles or fast. Use deliberate kind of slow straight back-forth up/down side to side motions. This thing has a pivot head that adjusts to the contours of your jawline and neck. After using for a little bit you will notice a sound difference when it is actually cutting vs going over smooth hair free skin3)Make sure your skin is clean and completely dry and not oily4)Make sure you clean after every use. This helps to keep the razors under the foil able to cut like a regular razor5)For supreme results use day and night. I personally, use it at night only but my friend who I recommended this to has facial hair that grows extremely fast so he has to use it more but is still baby smooth and bump free like meI have recommended this to ALL of my friends and think I will purchase another one just in case it ever breaks or whatever. It is that good. LOVE IT!!!!!!

This is an EXCELLENT Shaver replacing my I Remington MS 3 , three heads, which I have for 20 + yrs. It was excellent. In the last year when buying replacement blades ,I noticed they were HORRIBLE. Perhaps scam?? I have tried some Braun's and other more pricey Remintons, and even an expensive Panasonic but they did not give me a good shave regardless of amount of time spent...yeah, smooth, but don't cut. I have also tried rotaries w/o success. This is a very reasonably priced shaver that pretty much equals the MS 3 Titanium. Whilst I realize everyone's skin and whiskers are different, I would recommend you'all give this a go.

I've used Remington electric shavers for decades and when the battery wouldn't recharge, or I needed replacement parts, I'd go to the then many Remington stores and they'd keep it running. I bought an expensive Braun a few years ago and it was okay, but too much trouble, with the charger I had to buy cleaner fluid for and so on. When the coiled cord started cracking on the Braun, I retired it and went back to wet-shaving.I bought this Remington shaver on impulse and I'm glad I did. First, it reminds me of the Remington shaver I used for years and using Williams Lectric Shave, it shaves as close as wet shaving. However, it takes a couple of weeks to transition and it takes maybe half-again longer at first.I have only one complaint, explaining the only reason I give it four instead of five stars. The on-off switch is in the middle of the shaver's handle and I'm finding that I'm shutting it off as I used it. My old one's switch was on the bottom, which is a better place for it.

I have zero complaints about this shaver. The shave time and recharging times are quick, and I've been using mine for 5+ years without a single hiccup. The electric razors with rotating blades are impossible to clean, while this takes me about 20 seconds to clean using just an old toothbrush. Excellent item.

I'm retired and don't shave every day, and even then I mostly use my hair clippers (with no attachment) to buzz off the length. I tried this shaver with at least a 1/4-inch growth, and it easily gave me a clean shave with no pulls at all, and no burn or irritation afterwards. I ran it in a straight line, just up and down, no circular motions like the product guide suggests. Didn't need to, even on my tough old facial hair. This Remington Foil Shaver is better than my old Remington rotary (which I never liked to use because of the irritation and pulling) and far better than the $40 rotary shaver I recently bought and returned. And cleaning is easy enough.I won't wait 3 days to buzz or shave any more because using this shaver is so quick and easy. So now the only question is how long the blades will last.

Well: I was reading customer reviews concerning this particular Remington razor. Being a black male. I look for razors that are excellent when it comes to causing few or little to no razor bumps. I used the Remington razor for an entire week. I didn't get any razor bumps. But: I sure did get a lot of irritation bumps! You have to go over the same hairs so many times. By the time you get down to the skin. Your skin has been irritated! Yes: I shortened the hair with the trimmer/edger first. I've used the Wahl: 7339-300 for at least 15-years. It's quick: cuts well after 2 or 3 strokes. Absolutely no irritated skin or irritation bumps. I keep the Remington razor in the bathroom as a spare: just in case my Wahl 7339-300 unexpectantly goes out on me. Sorry: it is just not the Remington razor for me. Highlights: Remington's battery life was very good: and very easy to clean.
