Make sure you know what you're doing
If your Nexus 4 glass is broken, but your LCD works, this part is useful.Note that removing the broken glass from the LCD is difficult, and will require time and care as well as a heat gun (a hair dryer may work). You will want to heat part of the glass, then wedge a playing card between the glass and LCD to pry off the glass. You will also need UV-sensitive glue and double-sided tape to attach the new glass to the LCD. If you have access to bright sunlight, that might work to cure the glue, but I recommend using a black light.

Expectations Met. Fast service for Canadian delivery. However, replacing the screen was not easy. The price is reasonable.
I am giving this four stars because "I liked it." However, I believe I managed to overheat my LCD in the process of removing the old broken glass. Probably because of impatience. Replacing the screen was not easy, which is not at fault of the supplier; and therefore should not hinder the rating. Anyways, as a result, I was unable to test this Touch Screen Digitizer for LG Google Nexus 4 E960 - Black ~ Front Panel. Therefore, I don't believe I can give a full review, but overall I was satisfied.Despite living in Canada, five days after the order was placed, I received the Touch Screen Digitlizer. I found that to be very quick, so I believe that to be great service. It came in a small box wrapped in bubble wrap with majority of the tools shown in the picture. I received two types of screw drivers that were necessary, and they fit well. I received an additional tool that looked like a guitar pick, and an additional pry tool just like the blue stick beside the screw drivers in the picture. In addition, I received a suction cup that I assume was for removing the class somehow? Regardless, I did not use the suction cup in my case as it was not needed. In total, 6 tools came with the Touch Screen Digitizer.I liked that I received the necessary tools in the picture, and more. The glass was unharmed in the process of delivery; however, I was unable to test to see if the touch screen actually works. The price is reasonable, so I wasn't afraid of trying to fix my phone without experience.I would recommend this to someone who's phone still displays the phone's lock screen, but the touch screen feature of the phone does not work. This someone should know what they are doing, and how to do it; because it was not easy.

Not worth the trouble - really
Same as most people here. I can't really blame the product for not working, it seems to be just fine, except for the fact that the wrong screwdrivers were included - and trust me the proper ones aren't that easy to find (or ever used for anything else than this screen replacement !).More important than the screwdrivers, the hassle of getting this on just donesn't seem worth it, when one can buy the Digitizer+LCD for a bit more. Such a hassle in fact that I ended up replacing my phone. For remnider, you'll need to pull the old digitizer off using a heatgun/hairdrier. Then scrape off the glue from the LCD (much harder than it sounds to get it off cleanly). Then buy new glue to stick Digit + LCD together (double sided tape won't cut it for this). And this is without counting all the steps required to get the whole thing off in the first place, as you'll find in many Youtube vids. All in all, really not worth the hassle. LCD+Digit might be, but not this.

Shorted two star drive screwdrivers
The accompanying tool kit was not complete and appeared to have been opened. There is only two micro small Philips head screwdrivers. I got two of the elongated blue plastic pry tool, one of the blue triangular tool, one guitar pick???

Very difficult to install
There was no indication of the difficulty involved in installing this. The instructions included a url with instructions but the url was not there. I found another site on YouTube and started following the instructions, but was not able to get all the little bitty glass shards off the screen and finally gave up.The problem was that the screen was not just cracked but actually shattered. A lot of the screen was little more than powder and using the hair dryer just didn't get it loose. If the web site referenced in the instructions were real and if there were a note before purchasing that installing the new digitizer might be a lot of work this might be a reasonable product to get.

Product Itself is great, Installation is not.
I cracked my digitizer for my nexus 4. I attempted to remove the Digitizer from the LCD by heat and cracked the lcd. If you are attempting this repair, be EXTREMELY careful. The LCD is so fragile, but the digitizer works good and is like the original.I will order the complete set to complete my repair as i messed up my lcd. (Half the screen is discolored.)

Good replacement.
Not OEM, but good enough. Has the tinted LED window, which others do not. On my unit, the touch location is actually about 1/16-1/8 inch lower than I expect from the OEM digitizer, but this is not too much of a problem. Just takes some retraining of muscle memory. On the plus side, I've cracked the screen again since getting this :-$ , but the digitizer still works :-D . Satisfied. Just bought another one. :-P

You probably want the LCD and screen as a single assembly
I can't really recommend anyone try this as a DIY way to fix their phone for cheap.I had successfully replaced the broken screen on an iPad, so I figured I would give this a try. Replacing the glass alone on the Nexus 4 is much more involved.
