LOVE2PET No Pull Dog Leash, Large, Blue

Every dog has strengths and weaknesses during their learning process. My vizsla boy got his CGC certification when he was 9.5 month old, and 9 out of the 10 test items he could perform pretty much under any distraction even outside the training room except loose leash walking. As soon as we get out to exciting places he keeps forgetting that he is meant to walk at my heel. When i stop he realizes and walks back next to me but in 2-3 minutes his excitement overrides the rule again. We have gone thru several tools and trainings and i am sure that all of them helped. This one seems to provide us the last step of the loose leash walking skill - as soon as he starts speeding up the tension reminds him where he is meant to be (next to me and not in front) and i do not even have to stop anymore as he immediately slows down and walks back. It also does not seem to hurt him (he is now 11 months old) which i like even better. So finally we may reach the point where even leash walking is fun for both of us.

This leash, used the proper way as is detailed within the packaging, stopped my dog from pulling on his walks on first use. Seriously! Like magic. Here is a dog who always tugged uncontrollably in every which direction and was a real challenge to take for a walk... then when I used this particular leash, he was a perfect walker. It all has to do with how it is (easily) looped and wrapped around the dog (very specific instructions are detailed within the packaging) in a way that the dog's body is more in balance and the leash stress weight is over the shoulder blades as opposed to the dog's neck. Trust me on this; if you're getting frustrated and having difficulty walking your dog, buy this NOW! It's a bit more costly than other leashes but it is worth every additional penny for the big change it makes on the walks. Can't say enough good things about it. And it also appears to be indestructible. So very well made, study and good looking.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  One dog is 55 pounds the other is 68 pounds and growing. We have tried many leashes but these are the best! The rope goes around their chest and tights if they try to pull. We have wonderful walks.

Super fast & easy to put on my pups...but it did not stop them from pulling. I have 2 Treeing Walker Coonhounds & they are very hard headed.Still our go to leash because it is so fast & easy to use.

My dogs are pretty good. but one loses his mind with squirrels, and the other is TERRIFIED of anything on wheels (bikes, roller skates, scooters, etc...) which makes for a very interesting walk from time to time. it was helpful to leash train the stray puppy I took in, but also keeps me safe if they ever feel the need to pull mom across the street (again).highly recommend for both leash training AND keeping walks safe when you're dogs outweigh you by about 80 pounds

This is been an absolute lifesaver with my Boston terrier. Well he’s not the biggest dog out there he can drag me down the road. Since putting on the sleeves no problems walking him at all. We are both much happier

Well made and it is doing the job already. Not just for the dog parent but also great for dog walkers, I use it with all the pups that pull too much.

A simple but effective alternative to those figure-of-eight and Halti headcollars that our pointer hates with a passion and always tries to get them off his nose. Designed by an animal behaviourist in the U.S., the lead clips to the dog's collar, then is fed under the chest and back through a strong steel ring next to the collar clip, basically a slip-lead around the dog's chest. No need to tug the lead at all, just wait for the dog to register the tightness round his chest and he turns back to you almost immediately. Will have to see how long it takes him to get used to the feel and ignoring it, but initial impressions are good, and if we alternate this with using a head collar, it should stay novel for him. Alternatively you can simply use it as a long lead - the round woven nylon cord is comfortable in the hand, and the hand loop and clip ends are well finished in tight plastic tape

I have a rescue lab who is very reactive. I have tried everything - training classes (asked to leave), 2 one to one dog trainers, haltis, harnesses etc etc. This lead has been a game changer. He's not perfect but I can now control him when he sees other dogs and as of today will even sit when he starts getting excited so I can now praise him and give him a treat. Before he was so stressed and wild that he wouldn't even look at a treat so training was impossible. I am also now more relaxed which in turn helps. Can't guarantee anything but I have seen a marked improvement.

OMG this has been a life saver for our 10 month old Golden Retriever puppy who is still growing and is bigger than your normal size retriever...locals call him the polar bear! He loves everyone and loves all animals so wants to bound up to everyone and everything, this lead has really helped, it hasn't stopped him totally but he's greatly improved and he doesn't pull me over anymore!

Excellent product works so much better than the head collar we used as our dog doesn't get stressed by it. Still pulls slightly but nothing compared to an ordinary lead - and he is a border collie!
