Good quality, easy setup.
Initial impressions after a test setup. Good packaging, arrived with no damage. The provided guy lines are much better quality than you'd expect, the cam locks for the rope are good quality and they work well. The guy rope is substantial and easy to work with. The pegs won't work well with the soil conditions where I'll be but I've already planned a replacement peg that will. Unrolling the canopy revealed a good quality product that seems to do a good job keeping the weight/bulk down but being something that will be durable. My situation requires the canopy to be setup extending from the side of the vehicle (Jeep Gladiator) and using the roof rack as the vehicle anchor end. The number of straps and attachment points made this a "no-brainer" and it was connected in a couple of minutes.Although the poles are sturdy and look like they will work great, I don't think I'm going to like the fixed height. However, I used them today, and they worked well for a test setup. It took about 15 minutes to get the canopy set up and provide shade, and that was with one person and a little breeze that played games with me. With two people, this would be a 5-minute setup. The amount of shade provided is excellent! I'll be using this primarily for portable ham radio setups so that we have a little breeze and shade - both of which are important in the Mohave desert! The final comment is on the storage bags. THANK YOU for not trying to save a penny or two with the bags! Everything goes back into the bags without any problem since they are made with generous dimensions.I'm looking forward to using this out in the field, and I think it's going to be a great shelter.

Great tarp!
Good quality materials and easy set up. Held up to wind and rain. Best to add 3rd pole in the middle to shed rain.

Windy
Was not sure about using in the wind, bought it. Worked great, stakes where in deep and a good and patient wife helped. Three day trips to northern OBX. Three more to go.

Worth it.
First time I used it was in the mountains and high winds snow and freezing rains. It was quick to set up and great to have!

Works well but could be better
Great for shade. Doesn’t feel as durable as others. Hopefully it lasts. The heavier duty stakes are nice.

Tougher than anticipated
For starters, this tarp is awesome. So many ways to configure it, car or not. I found out the hard way that this thing is much tougher than I anticipated as well. I set it up as an awning off my back porch with the vehicle straps secured to my porch posts (pictured). Last night we had a heavy rain come through and I forgot to put it down as it will collect water due to the grade of my yard how it is set up. I came out this morning to the one side down. The 2 stakes and guy lines were ripped out of the ground and that respective pole was thrown down. The only thing I can fathom is the tarp took on so much water and was so heavy, something had to give. That something were the two 10 inch stakes on one side! I cannot find any damage to the tarp. No stretched seems, rips, nothing! The only damage is a slight bend to the grommet post on the pole that was affected (pictured). The pole itself is still perfectly straight! I am remarkably impressed by this. The only thing I would consider upgrading is gettng some niteize cam jams. The system it comes with works fine, but the cam jams clip into the attachment points perfectly and allow for easier tensioning of the guy lines in my opinion (also pictured). Bowline on the stake side and cam jam on the attachment point makes for a dang simple set up. Also, for a 6'8" dude, tightening up the guy lines from the top side is alot easier than bending down and messing with the traditional system it comes with. I highly recommend this tarp for any adventure or just lounging in the back yard.

DIY Fit
This thing is great! I've went through 3 pop up tents in 3 years going to the beach with my tent. 2 years with the slumber Jack lots of windy days, only change i made was buying new poles as the ones they come with are a bit heavy. Pro-tip buy paint buckets for cheap anchor points just fill with dirt or sand. This particular has very soft sand so keep in mind the stakes provided are more for harder ground. If you get this ask for help, don't be a hero. This is so much easier with friends helping you set up. Sure it won't be perfect but this thing will last a really windy day.

Works perfect with full size truck and camper shell for overlanding or general camping
This has held up very well in moderate 20-30 mph winds and rain. It covers a large area and allows you to work, sleep out of your camper shell and off the tailgate in the hot sun or rain. It seems very secure when full guyed out. If it is going to rain heavily I would recommend the single rear pole set up to avoid pooling of water and create a greater pitch to the fly for rain and wind protection. For clear weather use both poles to increase the shaded area. Stakes and guy lines are strong and solid. Grommets on the tarp seem secure and well made. This is a low cost way to obtain a 270 degree awning benefit. Also the storage bags are very ample to hold the product. Only minor negative is it won't work in paved parking lots without using some kind of concrete blocks as guy line anchors. Of course if you want to spend about a thousand dollars you could get one of those 270 awnings that would work there.
