Works like it should, didn't burst my PSU into flames (CM V850)
I tested this on a Cooler Master V850 SFX PSU. I was pretty hesitant to plug this into my PSU but went for it anyways by making sure if the pins were correct first before plugging it in. It worked fine, my PC detected my hard drive, not really much else to say. Its cheaper than buying a fancy cable from Cablemod. My only complaint is that its not that flexible so cable managing it could be a pain.

Exactly what I needed
So... I, like a lot of people, got a modular power supply and lost the extra cables.. years later I needed some extra sata power cables and for some reason, at least for me, it was really tough to find the right kind of cable for my PSU, but this one worked and was just what I needed. Works as advertised and well even though my power supply is NOT a Cooler Master (though I checked and compared the wiring specs for my modular PSU and it matched the Cooler Master that this was designed for,so I knew I had a pretty good shot). I also re-checked the sata side pins with a meter after pluging it in just be sure I wasn't going to fry anything.

Verified works on Silent Pro 1000W!
Saved me after I got a second hand PSU from a friend with no SATA power after my original PSU failed.

There's a trick to this cable..
First off, I thought this cable didn't work (like everyone else here), but after gently trying a few different techniques, I found the correct way to plug in this cable to SATA devices.. You need to "rock" the connector on to get it to work, but not from the "L" side like logic would make you believe. You need to start from the farthest end of the connector, then rock it so the L side is LAST to be pushed in, then the cable goes on easy. I have 4 of these in my current build. No issues so far (granted it's only been about a month), so I guess I can't complain much. 4 stars for the tricky connection trick

This worked on a Cooler Master 600W
clear description that proved to be correct. utility grade. this was exactly what i ordered at a fair price.

Plugged right in.
Extra hard drives are working just fine. No trouble connecting secure connectors to the SATA drives and Cool Master 700 Watt PS built in year 2012.

Very tight fit to the point of possibly damaging the connector on your SSD!
The end that connects to the PSU is fine, but the SATA power connectors themselves are so tight that I didn't dare apply any more pressure when trying to attach it to my SSD for fear of breaking something. I tried several of the connectors in the same batch and they were all the same, so use caution if you buy these. I've used plenty of other SATA power cables without running into ones like these. I can only assume that the manufacturer got their specifications wrong when making these, so I ended up sending them back. :-(
