Turn them off to use later
Not Just Single Use! These work as advertised and nice to have the variety. However, I frequently need the warmers for only an hour or so and don't want to waste the heat or the money, so I put them in a baggy and squeeze out the air to stop the chemical reaction. They warm up nicely when you open the baggy, and this trick works a few times, depending on how long you use them.

I can tell you it felt like bizzaro hell
I am an all weather motorcycle rider (I don't own a car/truck/etc). This winter was especially rough for me. With temps getting down to 13F, add sleet, ice, snow (which is very unusual for central Tx), I can tell you it felt like bizzaro hell, just like The Eagles sang warned about. I bought this pack to see if it would help prevent frost bit on my poor fingers. The hand and body warmers are amazing. I even slip hand warmers into my boots to help keep my feet and legs warm. I love these things and now have a giant box handy. The toe warmers are meh. They seem to suffocate inside my boots, so they never really get warm until I take the boots off. They were awesome walking around my cold loft (cement floors and metal stairs don't warm up very fast). So, if you are wearing sneakers and not motorcycle boots, these might work great for you.

These were key on our hiking trip!
I was very happy to have these on our hiking trip on the north shore of Lake Superior in February! We were hiking in knee deep snow at some points, and we had a six-yr-old along with us. She used the hot hands in her pockets, and she warmed her hands up periodically (she can't stand them in her gloves for some reason). They were really good to have, because she likes picking up wet rocks along the shoreline. I used the toe warmers in my winter boots, and I have a tip for the toe warmers. Get them heated up and in your boots about a half hour before you plan to be outside. That way they are completely activated and won't cool down during the hike or whatever you are doing outside. The first day I used them, I put them in when we were actually on the hike, because I wasn't sure I'd need them. They didn't activate all the way, and only kept my toes marginally warm, but when I took my boots off, and then put them back on later to go to the pub, they were super hot! I figured they just needed time and air for full activation. These were key to our happiness on our hike. We didn't use the body warmers too much - just once, and it was nice to put on the back of my neck for extra warmth during times when we rested.

Best Winter Product Ever
My husband works as a low-voltage technician, and a large part of his work is done outdoors. When the temperature dropped and he started coming home with a pink nose and numb fingers, I realized that 2 sweaters is not enough. So I shopped around, until I came across this. I ordered a pack for him to try, and it was a huge hit. He put one into each of his shoes and pockets. He says it keeps him warm and comfortable. He even handed out some warmers to his crew to try as well, and they all love it! Now he keeps a package in his work van for the cold winter days. After hearing how my husband just loves this, I tried it myself. Any time I step out on a winter day I make sure to have these with me, and it's great! After feeling the difference myself I started giving it to my daughter every morning when she goes to school. Her bus stop is at the corner of our block, and she has to walk in the cold weather. This is a very big help to keep her warm. She loves it too!

Works great for being in snow for long periods
I've purchased these time and time again. Whether I'm snowmobiling for a few hours in Michigan or working outside all day in the mountains of Colorado, these are what really keep my hands and feet warm.If you're worried about the quality of your gloves or boots, these are an easy purchase to make to ensure you'll never get too cold. Sometimes they actually make your hands a little too warm so you have to put them in your pockets.Well worth the purchase, they actually work.Side note, don't open up the individual packages until you are actually ready to use them. Oxygen exposure is how they activate.

Effective, but need to be used right
This pack came with three warmers - hands, toes and bodyI used the hands and the toe warmers, didn't have any need for the body warmers...so the review will be for the hands and toe warmers only :)the hand warmers were great, they really do heat up to a high temperature! the only challenge i faced was leaving them in the gloves to warm up the hands. they need to be exposed to the air in order to heat up and that was a no-no for me. exposing them to air implies exposing my hands to air, which just didn't work for me. when exposed to the air and shaken, they heat up in a few minutes and work extremely well!the toe warmers did not heat up too much, but they definitely reduced the chill my feet were feeling. Unfortunately, i wasn't wearing woolen socks and that may be why i didn't get much benefit out of these.i did give away the rest of the pack to my sister who was extremely grateful. She found them very helpful and clearly used them better than I did :P

Works perfect!
I bought 3 packs for our family (8 people) trip to NY this Feb 2016. We visited NY for a week during the record breaking week of Feb, below freezing temperatures. It helped us stay warm. It came in a huge bag and each individual hand warmer, toe warmer, and body warmer were packed separately for easy distribution. My 5 year old son loved it, I allowed him to use it with gloves on and he kept it in his coat pockets. The expiration date is 2018 I can use the rest next season. There was still 1 bag left.

These things SAVED me on my recent trip to New York City. I'm from a warm climate and a massive cold front hit NYC just as we arrived. I put these warmers in my gloves and boots and they kept me nice and toasty out walking a LOT in a really cold wind. The stick strips on the foot warmers REALLY work. I actually struggled a bit to get them back out of my boots. But they were comfortable to use, and allowed me to enjoy my planned tours and sightseeing in spite of the cold.
