This book is fantastic if you are just getting started with pine needle basketry. The projects that are show are very inspirational and the book is very informative.If you are looking for a book that is full of really cool stitches to try, this is not the book for you. This book will teach you the basics really well, but more intricate designs are not included.

This book was a gift and my husband enjoyed reading and getting ideas in making these items.

I like the way things are explained. Easy to understand. Great pictures. I recommend this book. I’m a beginner and enjoyed it very much.

I purchase this book based on the reviews on amazon. So glad I did -I became intrigued about pine needle baskets after purchasing a little basket kit on a trip . The directions in the kit were vague and I found videos online however I prefer books. This one is excellent - I was able to make my little basket soon as I received the book and look forward to collecting pine needles soon to make more baskets . If you are looking for a new hobby purchase this book!
