An excellent primer workbook for getting started with drawing nature. Plenty of clear examples and instructions in a user friendly format. Plus, it's printed in black ink (as opposed to pale gray ink that you can't see, let alone read.) My only comment is, I would have preferred a slightly larger type size. Other than this, I can highly recommend this book for your art library.

This is a really good entry level, or maybe second drawing book. Gives basics as well as specifics for drawing nature. I found it VERY helpful. I've had plenty of drawing books, before but most were either some basics and then onto something else, or more advanced stuff on nature. This is basics for drawing outdoor settings. Which was EXACTLY what I needed.

Good step by step illustrations from beginning to end for the various nature projects. You will learn something from this book.

Not an absolute beginner here, but if I were, then this is the book I’d want. Really good examples of how to do drawings, what tools to use, what you need. Truly “clear and easy guide” to drawing. Great review of techniques for those of us who have been away for a while.

I am an artist, but between handicaps and arthritis, am now challenged. I've never had training, but I sure could use a little help now. And the techniques look enjoyable.

I wish I would have bought this years ago. This book is fantastic. I've always liked to draw but never had any formal art lessons. They teach you about perspective and shading and when to use certain pencil types. Super great walk through. Starts off easy teaching you all the basics allowing you to practice sketching basic subjects and then progresses to full detailed beautiful nature drawings. This type of step by step instruction is what I've always needed.

The corner was damaged. It is for special present.Maybe a wrapper could have protected it. Otherwise, happy with the book.
