PowerSplint PRO - sports finger splint guard protector (black, small)

I bought this because i play pro basketball and needed help with a dislocated pinky... this is not something i can dribble with and my finger did not feel as protected as a normal tape job....disappointed and hoping i can return itUpdate: customer service reached out offered me a refund and a free upgrade to their new product... its always nice to know a company believes in their product and backs it....gave them 2 extra stars on the effort to make me happy!

Update:Both of my pinkies have been dislocated several times and are extremely weak. I have always taped it up and is constantly looking for new ways of protecting my fingers.The original PowerSplint that I received was okay, it protected from my little pinking from getting smashed. The original one I received did its job when I am pounding the glass or just playing on the inside.There were a couple of issues. One problem was that it constantly slipped downwards. I could not get the back strap (the strap towards the hand) snug fit. Also, the metal plate covering the joints were a tad small so it didn't really conform to my finger. The two bands that strap the splint to the finger made it hard to have "touch or feel" when shooting and dribbling.The vender did contact me, pretty great customer service, and asked me to try out their new and improved version of the PowerSplint at no charge. I agreed and gave it a try last Sunday. The vender sent me both the small and medium size to try. The small size is perfect for my pinky (this is the same size I used originally). They did some improvements on the splint. The metal plate and the neoprene strap has been improved and the fit is much better. I no longer have the slipping issue with the split, although the back strap could be made to fit tighter. Now I don't really have to think about my pinky going for a rebound inside and feel more confident playing a bit rougher.One suggestion that I have is to maybe make the strap a single (large band) of neoprene with velcro at the ends.I have updated and given this product an additional 2 stars due to the improvements and the awesome customer service.Past review:Works great if you plan on not dribbling.

Worst product

Works perfectly. Saw this being used by a few NBA players and decided to try it out since buddy taping or other finger splints are all awful. Powersplint works perfectly, use it every game on 2 different fingers

I have arthritis in my middle finger on my bowling hand. The pain I been experiencing from this has me thinking of giving up the sport. I've tried different things to help and seen the PowerSplint on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. The support has helped relieve the pain during bowling and the day after. I gave it five stars because I couldn't give it six! My only minor suggestion would be to lengthen the band near the finger tip about a half inch.

This is the perfect sports finger splint. I use it every time I play basketball. It's comfortable, it stays on firm and it doesn't interfere with my finger motion at all.
