Prettiest nail color I've ever had
I don't know if you've ever tried to find essie's "Ballet Slippers" in a store, but it's almost impossible to find. The slot that says "Ballet Slippers" is virtually guaranteed to be empty, and it's easy to know why because it is such a beautiful, all-purpose shade. When I returned home from a recent vacation and found that it was missing from my toiletry kit, I wasted no time in ordering a new bottle. If you are looking for an understated pale pink shade, I don't think you'll find a prettier one than this

I absolutely love the color as it goes with most everything. It applies smoothly & if I’m careful it appears as if I had it done at nail salon.

A 2026 in Shade
Essie’s Ballet Slippers shade has been around for a long time. It’s Nice neutral “in” shade for 2026. Buying on Amazon is so much more convenient than shopping in the store.

Lovely Color
It is a pretty color. The nail polish stays on well. Recommended.

Nice color, but not the same as in Walgreen's (same color, different number?)
This is fine, but less pink than the ballet slippers color I'm used to. This one is more white and, curiously, doesn't have the same number as the usual ballet slippers (unless they changed it recently). Still, fresh polish, so does the job.

I am very happy with the Essie nail polish. The quality is amazing and ballet slippers is my go to color. The quality of Essie is what keep me coming back for more.

Scam seller
The polish came with a brush that was uneven and thick. The polish is too thick and has been altered so it doesn’t go on evenly. I use this color all the time and what I got is garbage. Unbelievable. If I could give less than one star, I would.

The nail polish is really thick ( old?) and does shades. I had another colour from this brand and I keep coming back. Very disappointed with quality of the product.

Diese Reihe von Essie ist für mich der perfekte Nagellack. Ich habe leider hin und wieder brüchige Nägel, die absplittern. Die Nagelhärter aus den Drogerien haben nicht geholfen. Also war ich gespannt, was der von Essie leisten kann. Das Ergebnis ist perfekt ich benutzte keine anderen mehr. Der Nagel wird fester, stabiler (er wächst sogar wieder was vorher durch das permanente Absplittern kaum möglich war) und die Farbe sieht auch gut aus. Man muss sie allerdings 2 mal auftragen, um ein wirklich gutes Ergebnis zu bekommen. Im Freundeskreis wurde ich schon öfter gefragt woher ich den tollen Nagellack hätte.
