I LOVE THIS!!! My 5 year old son is starting kindergarten this year, and was worried about "spelling tests" lol. He is already pretty familiar with all the letters of the alphabet, but this is truly sharpening his recognition skills. He moves through the die so quickly, looking for the letter to match the picture. The word cards are brightly colored, have great illustrations, and the letters are neatly spaced. (I didn't get any inappropriate cards in my set). I love that the letters are underlined to help kids recognize the difference between M and W. My son is SO PROUD of himself, and feels so confident is his abilities now. I'm amazed watching how fast he moves through the cards, identifying and sounding out letters.

Love this game!! Bought it for my PreK great grandson as I suddenly was not working and he was no longer in school due to Covid 19. He has done great at finding the letters for the corresponding card. The newly turned 3 great granddaughter is loving the game. For her I give her 1-2 extra letters plus the ones on the card and she gets it correct every time. Great game for re-enforcing letter recognition.

I bought it for my 5 yr old but my 7 yr old loves it too. For him we choose oddball words with tricky spelling and time him for speed. Both kids love it. I wish they gave more cards maybe with more levels but this was an unexpected hit with better lasting power than expected. 2 months in and they still play!!

This game is super easy to use, and fun. However, I didn’t think a card for “BEER” was exactly appropriate for this kind of game.

My daughter is 4 years old, she missed the cut off date to be in Pre-K so I am attempting to teach her as much as possible so she is prepared for Kindergarten. This little game allows them to learn at their own pace and in a really fun way! Such a great investment.

this is a great game for toddlers and preschoolers learning how to put letters together to form a word. the extra letters are so nice - both my kids (2 and 4 years old) can play at the same time. the 2 year old finds and puts the letters right on the card, while the older one uses the plastic holder to test her knowledge. we use this set multiple times a week - both kids love it!

Easy to personalize for each child. I purchased the double-letter-block model, using the blue frame only for holding the picture card. I generate my own picture cards so we can include many more words. Great product and children don't easily tire of it.

My son and I love playing with this together and within weeks he was randomly spelling/recognizing words. The first word he spelled on his own was pie! It is plastic, however I don’t think it would be hard to come up with your own words and print/laminate on stock paper. I’ve been googling clip art for just this purpose!
