These do the trick, but I don't like their feel. The tines are about 1" apart, so they're more designed for picking up wargame tiles and gumdrops than pills or fish-food. The side thumb-grips are simple shallow slots filed in flat metal, and do not have a good grip in them. They need to be twice as deep. Or cross-filed. The tips do have a good grip. But they're designed for larger objects. I like tweezers from India better, with a 1cm distance at the tips, more springy steel, and better thumb grips.
