Toschi Amarena Black Cherries in Syrup

These cherries are flavorful and great for cocktails.

Use these on our Old Fashion mixed cocktail, and are excellent. Larger size and superb add-on taste, that you can not replicate any other way. Don't scrimp. Buy these. You will thank me later. Super GIFT idea too.

These are the best cherries when making pastries or decorating cakes, most likely a bit too sweet for a cherry pie. The cherries are not huge in size which makes their use in baking preferred. I got a jar given to me over Christmas, will not wait a year to enjoy.

These are some of the best cocktail cherries out there. They are much less expensive than the filthy cherries and taste just as good. I use them daily in my flavored waters, and they are wonderful to help flavor my water then a fun snack after I finish drinking the drink. I have not tried it, but I bet they would be wonderful on ice cream as well.

I highly recommend these for your drinks, ice cream or desserts. These are delicious and high quality cherries. They come in a thick sweet juice. So good!

These cherries take me back to my childhood in Italy, where they were often used in pastries. The flavor brings back wonderful memories—and they’re absolutely delicious. I was very pleased with the product and plan to use them in the pastry cream for an Italian mille foglie cake. The syrup is equally fantastic, perfect for mixing into water or cocktails.

These definitely don't taste like the neon red maraschinos you get in the grocery or liquor stores. They remind me of a high quality cherry candy, actually. There is a slight hint of sourness, but overall, they are nicely sweet, not sickly sweet at all. It's a nice balance. After reading that banana flavored candies are actually formulated to taste like a variety of banana that is no longer commercially available, I wonder if that means that cherry candies are supposed to taste like amarena cherries... Anyway, they would taste amazing in a Black Forest cake. I tried them in a cocktail, and they tasted nice but the texture was a little softer than I like in a cocktail cherry. They are very dark colored, like a dark purply red. The syrup is very thick (perhaps because I keep it in the fridge?), but it too is really tasty. I can imagine using it in cupcakes, frosting, and such for natural flavoring.

Amarena cherries are my favourite, perfect for a nice Manhattan or on icecream. 2nd time ordering this, first time it came with no lid to reseal after opening, 2nd order was good to go. If ordering just be sure to have some spare jars just in case there no lid!
