feels sturdy and well made. tip extends 18mm at when fully depressed--which is what i needed for my old large-format lenses.

Sturdy will last works well in threaded shutter .

I love this however I didn't know that to release the shudder you have to twist the knob. It makes it inconvenient while doing a photo shoot and takes extra time.

Works with Minolta x-370s

Arrived with some scratches and scrapes - like it was used - I wrote it off as it is a cheap item. This thing worked ok for about 3 days. After that the flexible sheath around the cable that slips inside started to stretch when depressed not holding the cable with enough tension inside. So when the camera needed pressure it wasn't there as the cable simply bent inside the rubber tube. With little no resistance it appears to function as normal. I use older 16mm movie cameras (Bolex, Krasnogorsk, Arri)that apparently need heavy duty shutter release cables? If your camera is lightweight and your shutter button is also easy to depress, it might be fine for you but for me 1 star is being generous.

Actuation very inconsistent. I doubt I will use much. Plunger sticks often.
