Gibson Performance Exhaust 65656 Stainless Dual Sport Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System

There is some in-cab drone which resembles the sound of a helicopter (much quieter, though). When I ordered my system there were four in stock. There are now three. I have personally received two of the three that are in stock and awaiting shipment to the next buyer. The two I received prior to the one I kept showed up to my door in a damaged box and parts (muffler) and without some of the necessary parts (exhaust tips). The third one I received was missing the necessary installation hardware. I elected to have the kit welded in place rather than deal with Amazon again. The customer service department did "their best." I honestly a still not happy with the process of replacing the first two.Otherwise, the exhaust does sound nice, especially when you hit the gas. I paired it with an Airaid CAI, so my truck now has a great growl all around. You won't be disappointed in this item (as long as you receive all the necessary parts). Honestly, though, just do yourself a favor and order directly from Gibson. They were very helpful in the process while Amazon only hindered.The three stars is honestly for Amazon. I'd give the exhaust system four stars. I will most likely order the Borla directly from my Chevrolet dealer some time in the future.

Quiet perfect rumble. Really opens up the 5.3 performance and very easy install. No in cab drone to mention. You will not be disappointed in this system.

came damaged. parts missing. I cant just ship this giant box back with large holes in it. What the hell am I going to do with this pile of crap?

In the end, it works great and sounds great.The package arrived very damaged. One small panel of the box was completely ripped off. After thoroughly examining everything, I found that nothing was damaged nor missing, so I started to install it.Upon installation, I noticed something wasn't right. It was too short. I pulled out the paperwork, and noticed it was for a 5'-6" flatbed, and I have a 6'-6" flatbed. It's nothing bad about the product; more focused towards Amazon's ability to match the right products with the right vehicle. I put an extension piece in, and it works great now.

Was missing clamps, had to order locally to get kit finished being installed.

Let me just say, I couldn't have spent my money any better. I was going to go with the Magnaflow, because there were a lot of exhaust systems for this truck where people were complaining about a droning sound in V4 mode, but I didn't want to spend that kind of money on an exhaust. I had a Gibson exhaust on my 94 Yukon that I loved, but I love this exhaust even better. It sounds so deep and meaty, but cruising, the exhaust sounds very mild. With the windows up, you just have a nice modest rumble. Only at certain low throttle points is there any bit of drone, and what little bit there is, is manageable. Buy this exhaust with confidence!

The correct fitment for the 6’ 6” bed for the 2016 Silverado is the GIBSON EXHAUST SYSTEM 65663 Amazon needs to update this
