Use the Revlon frost I can't tell you how many times! People and Beauticians, are going to frown how I use it! I don't use the cap an hook! I like the way there is one packet to mix with the solution. Others have 2 packets with extra solutions ,this one is simple to mix and turns to a purple color, then you know have the right one. I did this with long hair and now short. I take a comb with the handle , dip in the foam highlight, and lightly comb it where I want the highlights, not real close together as this expands. Works every time, stays a long time on, and is a simpler way to do! This product is they best I have found and way cheaper than the others.

Gives beautiful hilights, BUTTTTT do not leave it on an hour you will fry your hair. 15 minutes then check. Or do a strand test. Also dont pull through every hole only circled ones. You can always rinse , dry , check and add more. Ive had both horrific and wonderful results with these cap kits , trust me, go slow or you'll have white fried hair.

I have always gotten this brand since I was probably 18 or so. I like how it has the cap inside of the box, and how it ties to your chin to provide a nice snug grip to your scalp where the holes need to be. It has several ways to apply your highlights as well, you can section it off to the front and sides, or do your whole head. It also has an every other hole structure that you can follow to get even and consistent strands all around your head. And if you wanted a ton of highlights you can do every single hole they've punched inside of it. Which is great ! That they give you so many choices on how many highlights you can put inside of your hair. The bleaching kit comes with a little plastic rectangle bowl and a powder pouch along with the developing cream. You'll pour your powder in and the developer creme in and mix with the spatula they provide. Which also has a hook to it and you pull your strands of hair out with the hooked side of the spatula. Some of their boxes had a metal hook and some are plastic. I suppose it depends on which highliting kit you get. You can also save some of your bleach and pour about half of your powder and half of your developing cream if you're doing a small portion of hair for your highlights. Then it will have a plastic cover for after you're done applying your hair and keeps it moist and from drying out. All in all this is my favorite and leaves my hair very lightened and beautiful, it doesn't dry my hair out like others can and has a nice conditioner that helps smooth your hair.

Easy to use by simply following instructions. Would not recommend for dark brunettes as it will likely result more orange but for light brown hair it lifts and tones hair without any lingering brassiness.

Beautiful color. Of course its time consuming, when using the cap, but you can't go wrong! 7 bucks, patience and a few hours and you've got salon look right at home! I saved $350 and my hair came out perfect!

Oh no it’s tragic!! I didn’t think it would go this light? I look like Elsa and there’s no going back… next time I’ll pay someone to do it.. if you just want some minimal coke highlights, pull little bits through every fourth hole.. also the plastic hook sucks!! I broke two of them and had to resort to a metal crochet hook… not worth the hassle… dye it all or get it done in a salon.

I love this kit!! And its so much cheaper to purchase it through Amazon than to buy it in store!! The cap was easy enough to use and the color turned out perfect!
