Works perfectly! I use this on my Simmons double kick tower to keep the mesh from degrading and with a year of abuse this thing has held up wonderfully. The adhesive has never even lifted in the corners which says alot. Best oart is it allows me to use the felt side of the beaters to keep the noise level down without destroying the pads, highly recommend.

Finally got a set of these drum patches. Cleaned off the surface of my bass drum… and now it’s protected from further damage. We’ll see how long the drum lasts but I bought a replacement in great/new condition and it has the other patch on.

Decent tone for a cheap EQ patch. I used it for double bass, for metal and other genres. Attaches pretty well, and gives the sound a much clearer attack and better punch. I have since upgraded to a Danmar PDKP, which does the same thing just even more exaggerated. If you're looking to change up your sound and get a little more kick in the mix, this is a good start. If you need a lot more kick in the mix, go with the Danmar.

I use a double kick pedal and i hit my drums HARD. These last me several months and never fall off.

Like, both eyebrows raised while whistling- nice. The ride doesn't stop there, it comes as a pair. THAT IS CORRECT FOLKS- YOU GET TWO OF THEM. You thought it was getting crazy with the girthy protection of your drum heads from those punishing devious felt (or rubber) beaters. No, enjoy the comfort and also the sound it tempers for you. Electric, Acoustic, or Free range, it adheres so you don't have to. So you can go on and sweat from your double blast beats my strong supple friend, and not from that overwhelming love & concern for your drum pad/head. It's also black and nylon, not all shimmery and plastic looking. Not only will that strike zone sound nice and protected, but it will also look sexy yet authoritative, clean but, nasty, as well as uniform yet jazzy. High quality material

This seems to work nicely for me. Seems to give the kick a little more attack and clarity for if you want to articulate with your drums skills. It's not to soft and cottony sounding, yet rebounding is still good. Worth the money and it sticks well. Very thin, but effective.
