No longer need to bag
Bought these as my neighbor had them and his lawn looked awesome. These replaced my 3-in-1 OEM blades that worked well with bagger but made grass paste when mulching. These mulching-specific blades make quick work of my thick rescue and leave little/no visible clippings. They do not work well with bagger (duh) but now I don't need to bag as no longer have need to. Will see how does with leaves in the fall.

Blades fit and cut just fine.
The blades fit on my John Deere LX-255/42C Mower deck. They cut/mulch just fine and that is with the discharge chute.

Great Mulching Blade for John Deere X300
I reviewed several different mulching blades and these were the overall best mulching blades. I received the order on time and installed them on my John Deere X300 42”, I couldn’t believe the difference in the quality and the way they cut the grass today. They are much sturdier than my previous blades and fit perfectly on my mower. Great Value and works great.

No Mulch lines
These work great. It was easier for me to switch out old blades rather than have the tractor serviced. Service shops are backed up for months. I like the mulching blades. I cut only 3 acres of my property every 2 weeks, no complaints from these blades. Work great even when cutting near the pond.

Game changer
I recently purchased a John Deere S100 mowing tractor and always noticed no matter how slow I drove or where I had the blades positioned. I would always have a strip of grass that just didn’t seem to get cut properly. I came across these blades while surfing Amazon and let me tell you, it is no longer a hassle or dread for me to cut the grass now and I’m cutting about 1 acre. What I first noticed was the massive amount of air That’s being thrown out of the chute Which is critical for a proper cut in order to raise the grass upward before The blade strikes. My first cut was with the grass was wet. I purposely had the blades as low as possible and drove as fast as I could with grass that was about 10 inches high and I could not believe when I looked behind me that everything was neatly cut , with no clumps of grass piled up and no strips of grass let uncut. This is really a game changer for me when it comes to cutting my grass. The amount of time that I saved is at least 30 minutes and another benefit I noticed I didn’t seem to use near the amount of fuel as I did before, I suppose because I’m not having to go over the same patch of grass two and three times. I purchased a spare set just in case I can never find these particular blades again again.

As dull as your mother in law's sense of humor...
Even though the picture shows a belt, you do in fact get 2 lawn mower blades shipped to your door. I installed them, and went out to cut about 2 inches off a ¾ acre, dry lawn. 2 strips in, it looked like Hellen Keller pushed a 22" self propelled all over the area my tractor went. I went back to the garage amd jacked my tractor up to make sure I didn't put them on upside down. Nope. They are installed correctly, and dull. I spent 4 times the normal time finishing my yard, so the protective coating could come off and expose dull blades. I removed them, took them to a hardware store and had them sharpened. They performed ok the next 2 mows, but went back to their original way very shortly after sharpening. I took them off, amd brought them back to the store to be sharpened again. The guy told me the metal was junk, and they'd just keep dulling quickly.I know now what happened to the sheet metal on all those 1998 Plymouth Breeze's that rusted out in 2 years. This company bought it all up to make mower blades out of. .
