They are beautiful pieces of porcelain that make musical tones when in use, just like the measuring spoons. I do tile work and always use porcelain, I just plain love its durability and to have utility in the kitchen with it is just very sweet.

These came in a pretty real box and each piece wrapped in teal gift paper. The celadon color is exactly as pictured— I’d describe it as a paler “Tiffany blue”. The cups are accurate when they are filled TO THE BRIM lol. In my photos if you look closely, the cups are filled to the top with water in order to reach their exact measurements. These cups are very easy to clean. As for storage, since they’re ceramic I will not be putting them in a drawer that moves because I don’t want to chip them. The spout (?) makes it very easy to pour liquid without spilling. These are so fun to bake and cook with. I even got the matching measuring spoons. Overall great!

I have several Portmeirion pieces in my kitchen but I had never seen these measuring cups before. They are solid and so pretty, and make a great addition to my kitchen.

These cups are so fabulous! Beautiful and useful. They are very delicate so I keep them on the counter and hand wash them. A much more fun way to cook than using the old standard measuring cups. Handwritten amounts on the inside. I loved mine so much I gifted my BFF a set as well. HUGE hit! These are for liquid measurements and you need to fill to the top to getthe exact measurement that you need. What a great find! If you love having interesting and fun kitchen tools this is right up your alley. And they come in the very cool green box as well. (that I can't part with).

I received the measuring cups in good condition, mainly not broken, however the measuring cups DO NOT measure accurately. When the liquid amounts were poured from several of my current measuring cups into the Portmeirion Sophie Conran measuring cups (and vice versa) the Conrad measuring cups would not take all of the liquid that was poured into them nor did they fill my current measuring cups to the correct measurement line. I liked the concept of these measuring cups being Porcelain and having a pouring spout but the measuring cups fall short of providing accurate measurements. I would not recommend using these measuring cups for quality baking.
