Bead Jewelry Making for Beginners: Step-by-Step Instructions for Beautiful Designs

I'm a beginner at making jewelry, and this book is fantastic. She goes step by step with pictures for each step. It's very helpful and informative. She also tells you how long it takes to do a project with very simple projects and a few intermediate projects. She instructs you on 21 projects. She tells you what techniques you'll be learning and lists what materials are needed and also what tools are needed. I absolutely love the ideas and the projects that she teaches you how to make. I'm already thinking of my own ideas and plan to sketch them out. I also take screenshots of jewelry that I like and would like to try to make. I'm also gonna try to find some magazines (Maybe doctor's offices or other places). The pictures are really clear and detailed and arranged perfectly with the instructions. She's also very gentle and encouraging with her words. The world is your oyster in making jewelry, and don't be afraid to try it out and come up with your own ideas. What's the worst that can happen-You wasted an hour of your life? If you don't try, you've missed an opportunity to do something that you might really enjoy doing. I also love that she tells you about starting your own small business at the end of the book because that's what I'm thinking about doing in my future. Overall, this book has everything you need to know for basic knowledge about making jewelry!! Hope this helps!!

Good book to get you started. Shows what tools you need and connectors and string or wires. Got as gift for parents of a six year old who likes beads.

I really enjoy this book. It’s practical and provides a lot of helpful information, particularly for beginners, but also provides inspiration for potentially new jewelry ideas. My only problem with the book is the photos are on the soft side - I think it’s due to the type of paper and printing used to make the book - rendering some of the instructional photos useless to me. It’s still a good reference but a little frustrating in some spots as a result of the soft images.

Great book. I’m a beginning bead jewelry maker and this book is easy to understand. Good photos and great explanations. It will get you started on simple bracelet and necklace making.

This is an easy read with wonderful illustrations. I am new to jewelry making and this is an excellent resource.

I bought this for someone else but she was excited to get it so I don't know how to write since I'm not using the book myself I did scan through it and it seemed to be full of information and ideas

This book is very well written and having the photos alongside the directions is a big plus! My daughter LOVES this book and has already learned so much from it!

Ideal if you are new to bead making as the pictures and instructions are really easy to understand.
