After I showed to my hematologist and gastroligist they started referring it to other patients in lieu of iron pills and repeated iron infusions, they like the fact it breaks down in the GI tract and not the stomach like pills.I like the concentration, with NO constipation!!! and the strawberry flavor. I MUST take it 40 ml, 4-6 times a week. The part I like the most is able to wake up, take it on an empty stomach. After I take my dogs out, go lay back down and then when it's time to get up an hour later, go on with my day, drink coffee, tea what ever, no muss no fuss, it even has a measuring cap. I LOVE THIS STUFF. I will probably be on it the rest of my life. BUT I and others like me DO NOT have sit in a chair with a needle in my arm for 3 hours getting 100 mil of iron a month, every month PS To document this my doctors at Emory University (ATL Ga) did multiple CBC tests with ferritin to document the results and like I said they now refer it to other patients, they were impressed.since I have been taking it my ferritin level has stayed constant and so has my hemoglobin so I have NOT had to have an iron infusion. Thank you for a wonderful product.

This product worked wonders for me when I was pregnant. Having gastritis and being on nexium, a lot of iron supplements, especially tablets, are poorly absorbed and can irritate my stomach. This supplement doesn't cause any gastritis flare ups or constipation. I only took the lowest dose in conjunction with my prenatal vitamins, to build my iron levels. Now after having my baby, I continue to take it. To me liquid supplements work better than tablets. As far as the taste goes, it doesn't have the typical strong iron taste. It doesn't have an iron flavor at all. The taste isn't pleasant, but I mix it with a little juice and I'm good to go.

If you can stomach to drink this stuff, I’m sure it helps. My daughter is anemic and we tried the liquid iron to help with better absorption. As soon as she swallowed this she ran to the bathroom and almost threw up, it tastes like old blood, I took a sip of it and agree tastes terrible just threw it away we will find something else to try.

This is probably the best iron I have taken. It doesn’t taste very good though.

Taste isn't bad.. not something I'd want to sip but works for that it's for! I chase with an immediate chewable vitamin C pill. Saw iron numbers stay up longer with this than any other product I've tried post infusion. I struggle with iron a lot! Always have.. even before my bypass 4 years ago. I like this product though..
