Grilled Meat

An exceptional mix of herbs and spices that enhances any roasted meat. This mix is a very popular Italian way to prepare meats before toasting or grilling.

This is an absolutely great product for seasoning meats. However, it is quite a high price. Hopefully, it will come down in price because it is not at an affordable price to use daily. I only use it when I am entertaining and on expensive cuts of meat.

I know this is supposed to be for sauce seasoning, but it's great on pasta all by itself with a bit of butter or other oil all on it's own. Delicious flavor! I can well imagine it being a wonderful seasoning in sauce as well.

This not-always-easy-to-find seasoning is fabulous for chicken. Eight to 24 hours before cooking, rub a cut-up or whole fryer with olive oil or canola oil. Season the bird with Ariosto (also inside the cavity if whole bird), pepper and paprika. Wrap airtight in plastic wrap or a large zip lock. Remove from fridge an hour before roasting. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I first found Ariosto in a market in Italy, brought some home, and have been using it ever since. It comes in many differing blends of ingredients -- for seafood, for tomato-based sauces, for roasted meats, potatoes -- you name it. it's a great addition to almost anything. So glad to find it on Amazon -- just wish they carried all the different blends.

It's unique, likely the juniper. Saltier than I thought it would be. I made feijoada tonight and seasoned the pork shoulder overnight with it. Turned out great. I can't wait to try it on chicken. This would be awesome on meatballs.

The Italians do everything better! This line of seasonings, made in Italy, makes potatoes taste so good, you forget how many you ate! It also works well on pretty much any vegetable. I recommend this to anyone who isn't quite sure how to season certain dishes....makes it so easy! AND delicious!

I am disappointed in this product. I have been using Ariosto for years to grill meats and love it. However, previously, the product I used came directly from Italy (an Italian friend of mine would bring it back from Italy.) This is the first time I ordered it online and there's definitely a difference. It tastes saltier and the herbs are finer than the real Italian version.
