It's the Right Thing to Do!!
I have always been curious why Europe and the rest of the world use bidets and not in the United States. I started reading how beneficial they are for your bottom after going to the bathroom. I felt I needed something else instead of just toilet paper. My family was spending tons of money purchasing wipes and buying expensive toilet paper so I needed an alternative. After searching for an alternative, I came across some bidets that were economical and would replace the cost of the wipes alone. The one I chose was the Joy Bidet C2-SC because of the price and functionality. When the product arrived my wife asked me what did I purchase now? I explained that I had purchased a Joy Bidet C2-SC and the reason for buying it. She and my whole family laughed and asked me if I really was going to use it? I said “I was, and had nothing to lose, why not, what would Jesus do” right!I opened the package and inspected all the parts to see if they were there which there were. I began to install it and took me about 15 minutes which was very easy. All I needed was an adjustable wrench and a pair of pliers, the package already included some Teflon tape to use on the connections. I tightened the connections just enough so there were no leaks and opened the water so it would be ready to use.So now the big test! I was the first to try it and didn’t know what to expect, wasn’t sure if the pressure was going to be strong or what, or if it was even worth the purchase. When I sat down, I turned the knob and felt a cool stream of water hitting the spot! The stream was a little strong but it has an adjustable knob to control the flow. It felt very refreshing and cleaned my parts well. The self-cleaning retractable nozzle works great! My family has been a little hesitant to use it but I know they are getting around to using it because I see the amount of toilet paper being used has gone down. We do not use any more expensive disposable wipes which by the way, clog up your toilet! I definitely see some of the benefits described in the product when I purchased it.Some of the benefits that I see first of all are that we don’t buy any more wipes to clean our bottoms. The amount of toilet paper usage has gone down and the rolls are lasting longer. When you turn on the nozzle to clean your behind, it hits the spot and cleans you very well; you might have to adjust to the direction of the spray to hit it just right! Embarrassing to say but another benefit is that I no longer have marks on my underwear from not wiping properly; I can take off my underwear with confidence and have a skid-mark free zone. LOL!My recommendations to all of you that are reading this is do your research on the benefits of using a bidet. You will find that bidets are very expensive and go as high as $700 dollars or more. For a fraction of the price, you can get a bidet that is inexpensive, dependable, hygienically better than using toilet paper or wipes and efficient to use. I can just see the benefits for people with handicaps that can’t reach or are elderly or even people with hemorroidal problems. This will help all these people and more! Now, I find myself waiting to get home to use the bathroom at home instead of going someplace else. I have the confidence and security that when I use it, my bottom is going to be clean and feeling refreshed! Overall, I would recommend purchasing one of these Joy Bidet C2-SC, and benefit from it, I promise it will never be the same and after all, “It’s the right thing to do”!

Works great - minor issues
It installed easily and performed exactly as advertised. For lack of a better way to describe it, the "aim" is spot on. The knob feels solid and the washing option is nice.I knocked one star off for two reasons. The vinyl decal that goes around the knob had warped and was not attached. It required a hot glue gun to finally get it to stick down. This is not a big deal, but appearance-wise it's kind of ugly without the decal, and, if you accidentally turn the knob the wrong way thinking you're going to clean it the water will squirt out of the toilet, so the decal is kind-of important. Also, they don't tell you that you will need extra bumpers on your seat because the angle is now off. Why such bumpers aren't included with these I don't understand. We just decided to not worry about the bumpers and as a result our toilet seat broke at the hinge and had to be replaced.Note, Joy Bidet sent me another Bidet in exchange for posting a review online. I accepted their offer thinking I was getting a newer, more updated model. It was the same model as this I already installed, however, the vinyl decal was attached fine. I easily installed the bidet on our guest toilet, this time making sure to add higher bumpers. I don't know how many of our guests have ordered their own, but so far everybody who does comment on it is positive.Something else I wanted to note, since Joy went to the expense of sending me another bidet, is the solid feel of the dial. It turns easy and clicks at each stop. Each stop increases the water pressure. Our water pressure is fairly low so I don't notice a difference after the second click, but I imagine if you have high water pressure you might want to be careful as too high a click could become uncomfortable.Lastly, and this has nothing to do with this particular bidet and is more of a general overall observation, I notice a distinct difference between the water temperature in winter and summer. I prefer warmer summer water as will most. In the winter the cold water can be somewhat brisk.
