I’ve always used box fans. I’m someone who needs the cool and the noise to sleep. However, I got tired of having to prop my fans up so I decided to make a change. This fan has been perfect after a few weeks of using it. I can definitely feel it from across the room and it is “noisy” as my normal box fan would be. I also have the option with the remote which has been convient.

This cyclone pedestal fan is a beast in the best way! It puts out a strong, cool breeze that reaches across the room—even on the lowest setting. Perfect for hot summer days or stuffy spaces. It’s surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is, and the adjustable height and tilt make it super versatile. Assembly was quick and easy, and the build feels sturdy, not flimsy like cheaper fans. If you want serious airflow without the noise, this fan delivers. Total game-changer!

This fan is great! The base is very large which gives beyond great stability even on carpet. It really shifts air and has a steady, soothing, never-changing fan sound. Great for drowning out noise, yet not too loud for sleeping.Very easy to put together. Minimal parts and minimal (yet sturdy) packaging. It also offers a wide range of angling for customization of air flow.Altogether it seems like it weighs about 2 pounds. Very easy to move around!I just recently bought a second one and, no complaints!

For an all plastic fan this runs really well. It is VERY quiet! The base is wide helping it to not tip easily. The power switch is in the front (instead of the back like so many other fans!) The oscillation is nicely wide, so as it goes back and forth it provides a nice angle of wind movement. I am sitting in front of it now and it is very pleasant, and does not cause an issue when there is conversation.However, there are a few things I wish were better, such as the ability to lower the angle - it does not bend down far enough for what I wanted, it basically just blows straight out even when oscillating (I hope that makes sense). It can lean upward and blow, but not downward. It does have a timer which is really a nice feature. It is also all plastic, which tells me the longevity is going to be far less than a metal one. The plastic construction does make it lighter but it nearly always means they will die sooner (experience tells me this).This fan was not assembled when it arrived and proved to be a little challenging to get snapped together correctly and securely.

I'm a big lass and 63 years old, and I had no problem putting this thing together. It's pretty much constantly running, and it's very quiet -- no strange sounds as it oscillates back and forth. I adjust the height frequently, whether I'm sitting at my desk or lying down, and it's very easy to do. I just have to remember righty-tighty, lefty-loosey, lol! Its pedestal is very wide, so no chance of it falling over easily when I move it around my room, which I do often. The only things I can't do with the remote is adjust the height and turn oscillation on or off. One BIG plus for me: it's easy to disassemble to clean it out.

Got my 18" Lasko Oscillating fan yesterday afternoon. Put it together this morning and is now working. I have 2 other Lasko fans that are really great. One is 5 yrs old & the other is 3. Both of these fans run constantly from spring to fall. I expect this one to work as long. Very easy to put together except for the front grill. Had difficulty lining it up right due to its size & my arthritic fingers. So far remote works good. Low speed is quiet. The other 2 are a little loud, but since I'm using this on my patio it's fine. Really like that it's mostly plastic, no rust because of humidity!! This is going to be a welcomed addition in Flaridas HOT summers. Recommend!!

I have had lasko fans for yrs and this has to be their best yet. It is taller and gives you a wider sweep than I’ve ever seen. Very easy to set up and a much better remote letting me turn it on at a longer distance. But what I like the most is that, to me, it actually does feel alot cooler. I can’t breath the Freon in ac but with this I’m very happy. I can’t wait to see their next upgrade. One received incomplete. After jumping through many hoops for Lasko, IM STILL WAITING
