"Run Fat Boy Run" is a romantic film comedy. Directed by "Friends" star David Schwimmer, the film stars Simon Pegg, Thandie Newton and Dylan Moran, with a host of cameo performances from stars of British comedy. The music is absolutely central to the film and is a mix of contemporary and classic - from Bing Crosby to Amy Winehouse and all points in between. Of special interest is a previously unreleased Dirty Pretty Things track "Radio Song", as well as tracks from Goldspot, the Rumble Strips, Tom Baxter and Air Traffic. Amy Winehouse contributes a cover of Toots & the Maytals "Monkey Man", a live favorite only previously available as a single B-side. The soundtrack is interspersed with music from film's original score as well as dialogue snippets.
