I bought 4 and they all work great. One of them I left outside and seems to work, even though I'm not sure if made for outdoors. The buttons are easy to use, the high pitch alarm does the job and the lights or alarm come on with motion. There is the option for lights or alarm and the option for immediate or delay to give time to disarm the alarm before it sounds.

Set to alarm or light it does not activate unless I grab it and cover the sensor with my hand. I would not recommend.

These are descent deterrent alarms that just might startle a thief enough for them to reconsider proceeding, but I see the principle use being the notification of occupants inside the house of a bad guy's presence. If you're near the alarms they are quite loud, even uncomfortably so, probably about the sound level of a smoke alarm. The sound level does taper off pretty quickly though as you move away from it to another room. The flashing light is okay, but I really question its effectiveness. It's certainly less than disorienting unless the crook gets migraines by flashing lights ;-). I would like the ability to turn the flashing light off to make it much more difficult for the intruder to figure out where the audible alarm is coming from, thud more difficult to silence it. In my application I put 2 of them in a camper which is kept in public storage, one pointing toward each of the two entry doors. I set the alarms for immediate activation (slide switch in bottom position). Within a second or so of going in they activate (audible alert and flashing light) and I just walk quickly over to the alarm and slide its switch to the center position to shut it off. From the outside of the camper it's not very loud at all, even with the door open, but if the door is closed, it's not very noticeable at all. It certainly wouldn't alert facility security that there was a problem unless they were in the immediate proximity, like walking right beside the camper. If the switch is put in the upper position then only the light comes on when someone is sensed, but it only comes on if the alarm's sensor detects that it is in the dark. The first time I tested this I didn't realize this and had it in a lighted room. The light wouldn't come on when I entered and I thought it might have been broken. That's when decide to look at the instructions... This makes it makes a nice automatic night light if that's what you're looking for. Overall, I'm very satisfied with them and for the price I think they do a descent job of providing a certain level of deterrence. For my camper I also use multiple other means of protection too though, these are just one element, but even so, I know nothing is going to stop a minimally skilled and determined pathetic idiot intent on theft or destruction.

These devices are reliable and gives off a loud alarming sound when motion is detected. They are also reasonably priced 2 for $$. I especially like that these devices are operable manually, to turn the alarm on or off; and, place anywhere for use. You can even use the device as a light. Our household sleeps a little more restfully with these devices on watch throughout the house. If I were too change anything about them, it would be to make the devices remote controllable.

Better Than Expected and so far the Best! They are scary loud. These are being used to keep my cat out of areas where she tends to mark, such as under or behind furniture, desks, tables, etc. If you have this cat or animal issue, this may be your solution. My cat has finally learned where not to go. Stand them inside small open boxes and face them away from human traffic so that they can only be triggered by a small animal. Works great but is horrifically loud when it does go off. Fortunately the reset on their own after about 30 seconds. My cat has only set them off once in each area so far. Sad to have to use them but happy about the results!

I feel safe without spending a fortune on installing a surveillance alarm system. Has worked unfailing for years in our small apartment that’s open to the beach with an iron railing style gate for a door. We catch the ocean breezes; the alarm sounds off very loudly when the occasional cat walks past the gate/door. Never had an intruder but I am certain this alarm would go off!

You need to put all info regarding placement of this product. I was of the understanding that these were for outdoor use, but it said not to use in the rain. They are also not bright at all! I wanted ones that were self adhering, but ones for outdoor use. Can you recommend other motion dectors that self adhere to the outside of my house and garage that are much brighter? This 2 pack is a nice value for the cost. You're able to set to light only and also a delayed alarm. I only needed the one so I ended up putting the second as a night light in the garage. It's motion activated and only activates when it's dark and I really like it there. I'll note that it looks like an alarm/video camera too so that is a nice touch.Other reviews exclaimed this to be really loud, and while it's certainly enough to get attention, I was hoping for a little louder alarm as I have this installed in an outdoor shed in the back yard and am not confident I will immediately hear it go off inside the house.Overall for the price, I'm content.

Detecta inmediatamente. Y puede habilitarse ruido o luz al activarse. La alarma no tiene tiempo hay que inhabilitar manualmente. Por lo que debe estar accesible.

I have used a couple of these in important cabinets and under the hood in my RV and also aound my home for extra security. Batteries last a long time, very loud, does the job well.
