WashburnB17K Banjo (5 String)

I've owned some of the best Deering, Gibsons, Fender and other sweet instruments. This is the best looking and the sound resonance and tone are nice, sharp, always fun to play. Stands out in the crowd regardless of where or how it was made.

I love this banjo. It was the one I bought to learn to play. I was told that a better quality instrument is eaiser to learn on and I believe that to be true. It looks beautiful and has a good sound. With a quality set up it sounds great(right strings, new bridge, and the right head tension). It's still a different sound than a gibson or stelling but it's right up there at less than half the cost what a used one of those would cost. Wear a sleeved shirt or a sock on your right arm while playing or that pretty gold arm rest will look bad in a years time.
