Stop wasting time.
READ BEFORE BUYING! First of all I’m a real consumer and do not work for any company. Stop being afraid of using a new product, especially one that will change the way you plant everything. I wouldn’t recommend using this product to plant into directly. Although you can. Use it as an additive to the dirt you already have. This product is the perfect solution to that pesky cheap dirt that you bought on sale. You know the kind. The one that gets real hard, real fast. Then when you pour water on top and it just sits there and soaks in slowly. If at all. Then you find out that is just ran down the edges of the pot and out of the bottom. Then your plants either die from drought or suffocated roots. Adding this to your dirt acts like a plumbing system made of sponge (only it’s not sponge). When mixed into your dirt and pour water into your pot this mix absorbs fluids immediately. This allows you to be sure a perfect distribution of water or feed to your plant with ease throughout the entire container. Once you open this small brick and add water to it, break it down and you will see how efficient it is. Be sure to follow the instructions. Don’t add the brick to water. Add water to the brick. About 1 gallon. Then lay it out to dry. Once it’s dries, begin to add it to your dirt. Add about 2-3qts to a 8qt bag. (4cups equals 1qt) Use your dirt as a usual and be shocked that it makes such a difference. You’ll save time watering your plants and you will never wonder if your babies are full hydrated. Remember free and healthy roots are your gardens best chance to make you smile.

Urban Worm
Works well. No coco coir seems like it used to be though....going back 20+yrs or however long coir has been in use. Seems like Urban Worm was one of the first back then also. For the money and whats available though, you can't beat Urban Worm. Unless your doing straight hydro, coir is the way to go indoors. Much more forgiving than doing straight hydroponics.

it works - great additaive for clay soil
I bought coco coir to lighten up my heavy clay soil, and it really does the trick. It absorbs water quickly and expands like crazy—so make sure you use the largest bucket you own when hydrating it. Just add water and watch it grow (seriously, it keeps expanding). A few things I noticed: Price: It’s a bit on the pricey side, but worth it if you need to improve tough soil. Performance: I tested the same plant in two different soil mixes—one with coco coir and one without. The difference was obvious: the plant in coco coir soil grew larger, with deeper, healthier roots. Storage: You can buy in bulk, and it keeps well as long as you store it in a dry place. Why people use coco coir: Improves aeration and drainage (great for clay or compacted soil). Holds moisture without getting soggy, which helps prevent root rot. Provides a neutral pH base for mixing with other soils. Eco-friendlier alternative to peat moss since it’s made from coconut husks. Overall, coco coir is a great soil amendment if you want healthier roots and better plant growth. Just be prepared for the expansion—it’s no joke!

Amazing for soil, my new go-to brand
I use coir as the base for all my plant soils and have bought numerous brands online and in stores. I’ll admit that I bought this for the cute packaging, but the product has been great! First, the bricks come individually divided into four bags, making it incredibly easy to use smaller portions at a time. The bags turn out to be so incredibly useful to either mix the soil in directly, or store leftover amounts if I don’t need to use the whole brick. Second, I’ve used other brands and noticed small white “spots” on coir bricks previously, typically meaning that some mold has developed. This product, however, showed no signs of mold likely because of how well the bricks were packed. Lastly, when rehydrating the coir, it simply sloughed off and fluffed up with such little effort. This allowed me to quickly mix the soil instead of breaking down hard chunky pieces for hours. I can’t say too much about how well it works for other uses, but as a soil amendment it’s fantastic!

Great value
Great bang for your buck when it comes to coir! If you need something clean and affordability priced this is it for bedding or substrate.
