I really love this product and would buy again, it was very efficient and caused no problems. It was fast and on a pain scale of 0-10 I would rate a 2 no pain after besides when I rub it but nothing crazy. I recommend marking a dot to make application easy but overall this product saved me money $$ and was very easy to use.

I wanted to pierce a third hole but didn't want to pay the price to go to a piercing/tattoo shop. When I saw this I loved the "gold" option as it went really well with the ear stack/esthetic look I am going for. I want to change out the jewelry to something cuter once it fully heals but I think this is a great option for the time being. I had my husband pierce my ears for me so that we could get it in the right spot and I wanted to make sure it went straight through and not on an angle. I was shocked at how painless and easy it really was. Its been a few weeks and I've had no issue with healing or pain or infection, it has been perfect and I've had no issues at all. I highly recommend this product for the price, quality, and ease of use.

I did this because my ears had closed up I had not used earrings in a few years. I tried this product and it worked really great. I have pierced ears again now for eight bucks instead of $75 at the mall really great product. I am 65 years old and I did it myself.

Used this a few days ago to do my third lobe piercing. I only had one third piercing done but wanted to do the other so I could be symmetrical. I didn’t want to pay $50 at an actual piercing place for one I could easily do myself, so I ordered this so I could do it myself. Was pretty easy to do and I have no complaints! Tips to use: 1. I recommend trying out one of them not on your ear so you can see how it works. I used the first gun not on anything to see the mechanism and how the gun part detaches. I used the earring from that in my already pierced third hole on the other side. 2. Use a sharpie to mark where you want the piercing so you can make sure it’s even and placed well. 3. SANITIZE EVERYTHING. It says on the package the earrings are sterile but I used the provided alcohol wipes to wipe down the gun and my ear first. 4. PRESS HARD!!!! You need to push really hard to get it through your ear (not because of the product, but because you’re literally stabbing it through a part of your body). I would recommend getting someone to help you if you can as it’s extremely difficult to push a piece of metal through your own ear. I was able to do it alone, but it took me a few minutes (again, not the fault of this product, just a tip for piercing your ears) 5. I would avoid piercing your cartilage with this. Your lobes are fine but I have 12 piercings now and would recommend only doing cartilage at an actual place or with a needle (the gun isn’t good for your cartilage). 6. Clean the piercing daily and make sure to twist the earrings!

I came to say I am incredibly pleased with these! I thought -for certain- they would cause an infection. To my surprise, they came in sterile packaging with the correct supplies to do the job clean and smooth (minus gloves). I was worried that these would NOT be hypoallergenic but also to my surprise.. they ARE! I have insanely sensitive ears and these have not bothered me at all today which would be (2 days after), I can't feel a thing! I was expecting a crunch and slow agonizing pain, ear trauma from the gun squeezing, etc. I was highly surprised that (once I got over it and just did it) it didn't hurt much at all! It was very quick and nearly painless. It felt like the fastest little pinch ever and the pain wasn't really pain it is "warmth" from the automatic swelling response to the area. My ears turned red and felt hot. As time went on the sensation got a lot better. By an hour or so afterwards it was barely warm and not bothering me enough to cause any issues. The next day I could feel random throbbing sensations throughout the day which worried be but today we are in the clear!! Woohoo! So easy any one could do it!! My husband did mine for me! There was NO instructions so if you want to stay sterile then I've made a rough set of directions below that you can follow: (I'm not an expert or giving medical advice that anyone should legally take but here you go): 1. Open the Amazon box and lay everything out on the table. 2. Pull long hair back into pony tail or clip away from ears. 3. Mark ears where you want the piercing to go with a pen. (I ripped a small piece of paper and made markings like a ruler to see what even placement I wanted on both sides). 4. Take an alcohol pad provided and thoroughly clean the surface front and back of ear. (Careful to not remove the mark you made with a pen, just dab over this dot very gently). 5. Open the package of sterile earrings and pierce kit, do not touch anything inside only open the kits lids (careful not to sling anything over the top of the open packages). 6. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water and apply gloves. 7. Carefully remove the guns with loaded earrings without touching any other surface or the outside of the package again. 8. Align the pierce kit with the marks you made and squeeze the device fast and hard together. (Be CAREFUL because the backs do not fasten so carefully remove the gun by dropping it below the ear and immediately hold the earring in place so it doesn't slide back out while you find the back and secure it properly). 9. No cleaning solution is provided, clean with medical grade sterile saline or I had some Claire's piercing solution that I used to clean the ears with. 10. After cleaning ears slightly spin then and then leave them alone. Do not spin without cleaning with solution first. 11. Should be cleaned daily multiple times. Try to avoiding touching the earrings to reduce the chance of infection unless cleaning. If your ears remain red and swollen, hot, produce drainage or foul smelling puss you may want to remove earrings and see a doctor immediately as you may have an infection that would then need antibiotics. Redness and swelling is normal the first day maybe a little into the second day for me as the piercing causes swelling and warmth from the trauma to the ear but if it doesn't get better you may have an infection. Easy to use, individually wrapped for sanitation, the spring-loaded “trigger” action was smooth and worked exactly as expected, the jewelry is cute and looks just like the picture. 10/10, would recommend.

The self piercing kit is working just fine, but: 1. The alcohol wipes provided are almost dry so not usable unfortunately. 2. The studs got blackened within two days I clean the fresh piercing with saline solution only, and now need to be changed which will be quite uncomfortable considering the fact that this is just pierced. I would not order these again. I will rather find ones that are with surgical grade steel instead to make sure they are as safe as possible. If that doesn’t bother you then I would say it is fine for self use. The studs a sharp so it’s almost painless when piercing. I numbed the area with two ice cubes each side before using the kit and it work just fine.
