These control switches are easy to install, this repair took about 10 minutes. Make sure you disconnect the power before working with any Appliance! Product did work with my Samsung FE-R300SX range dual control burner. Although the controllers were different colors the control unit themselves were the same. From the old to the new white one they had additional or missing blades, but upon looking closer it was an additional blade. Additional bleed meaning one contact point with two blades. The old unit had an additional contact point that was not being used, where's the new white one did not have that blade. Simply take a photo before removing your old one and then connect one by one in the same place. You can see in one of the photos I added where there are two blades but at the top it is actually one that is connected. Hope this helps someone out there!

This switch needs a little work on the spade connector from your oven and works flawless for 1/6th money the Samsung store wanted. Easy as 1 2 3 to install and saved me hundreds of smackeroos. The replacement switch has all the terminals labeled so take a picture of the old one before you start the removal process and you will be fine. I'm Happy.

The control worked fine, holding the new control up next to old control, the wires connected the same, but I had to rotate the control 180 degrees , so that the off position would be straight up. No big deal , it works perfect.

I thought the first switch I received was defective. Installed fine (had to crimp a new spade connector on the blue wire, no big deal). Fixed my problem of the "cooktop on" led being continuously illuminated. Inner front right burner works great but the outer ring will not turn on in the dual element switch position. Thinking my element was bad, I swapped the new switch with the remaining good OEM dual switch from the front left burner. The new switch STILL would not energize the outer ring of the other dual burner. Front left and front right dual burner works perfectly with my remaining known good OEM switch. Ordered the same replacement switch and installed it today. The problem still exists. If anyone has some good suggestions, I am open to them. Would really like my big burner to work again. I bought this to repair my broken switch it’s doing find.

Although some of the reviews were worry some, the install was seamless. There was NO need to invert switch, splice any wires, or alter switch knob stem as were prescribed on some reviews. I found the controller to not be in OFF position when I went to install. After centering switch to OFF position prior to install and installing right side up, the burner changed its heat levels and the “ hot surface” light illuminated as well. This unit was half the price of the OEM part as well. Win/win..

The switch fit perfectly on our Samsung FE-R700 however the original switch had seven pins and this switch has six pins. If you do not attach the small yellow wire, it functions perfectly. Well worth the cost. Take pictures of the original to attach the replacement.
