Very Relaxing
I purchased this as a birthday gift for my wife.It is very sturdy, and actually holds both of us (or one of us and our 100lb yellow lab, as we discovered) with ease.If you are by yourself in the hammock, it will sort of envelope you, shielding you from any breeze. This is great on chilly day as the material itself is very warm. This is a little annoying on a hot day where you'd welcome a breeze!I do not leave the cloth out 24/7, so I can't say how it would react to rain, but the base has been through several storms with no signs of wear or tear.I have no problem recommending this for somebody that doesn't have two trees in their yard!

Bang for your buck.
Short and sweet:Holds a 300 lbs person with easeComes with a pillowEasy assemblyCanvas hammock has a 'breaking in' periodCheck the bolts before/after useLong ramble:For many years I have toyed with making a hammock my bed and finally made the leap. The stand was really easy to put together and assembled in less than 20 minutes. I will say it's a lot bigger than I realized, so if you're hoping for this to be a space saver think again. From tip to tip its a little over 9ft long which makes it hard to maneuver once put together. The hammock itself is beautifully made with sturdy stitching and metal reinforced loops at the end to keep it from wearing down too fast. It's also incredibly easy to disassemble. I did think the hammock was too short for the stand at first, I could only reach the first rung of the height settings, but I decided to give it a shot anyways. The first night was comfy but I woke up with my butt scrapping the bottom bar, canvas stretches y'all! and the hammock now can go to the second notch. So this hammock has to go through a breaking in period but honestly I don't mind it. I'm so comfy and I woke up with my cat and dog surrounding me so this thing is sturdy I am by no means a light person (I clock in and almost 300 lbs) and it didn't so much as groan or creak in protest. I will say you need to be smart, after/before use make sure everything stays tight. Some of the bolts loosened after first use, but as I check it over it happens less and less as the stand kind of settles and breaks in. The stand can seem wobbly but as soon as there's weight in the hammock it becomes solid and I think that's fantastic, it seems to use the users own weight to make the tension of the hammock add to it's sturdiness.

Comfortable
My grandson was born with FragileX Syndrome. He loves his outdoor hammock & wanted one in his bedroom to sleep in. This fit the bill! He is around 6ft 2ins & loves it. He said he is so comfy & cozy at night. He likes sleeping with his weighted blanket but said it got to one side to much & almost made him fall out. His Mom put the sleeping bag in ad it's starting to get colder & that took care of that problem. Very happy!

My long time, most wanted birthday present!
I have always wanted a hammock as it feels like an Item one should have in their lifetime. I have been looking at purchasing one myself for the last five plus years, but when you're a parent sometimes treating yourself is far on the list. This year I decided to give myself the birthday present from the hubby of course, making it a win win situation. Now, I looked at the hundreds both Walmart and Amazon offer and chose this based on price, reviews, and design. I, as well as my husband have slept together in it all night a few times and am impressed that it's not stretched out nor did we fall out as of yet. It's plenty long enough for a tall person to enjoy and would say that I wish I didn't wait so long to buy. If you are wanting a size reference, I'm at most 130 and hubby is 230. Keep in mind that you are sleeping in a burrito like cocoon. I had it in our living room and it was nice cool. The hammock itself is very wide and may fit more people and the metal frame appears to be very sturdy. I have the frame set up outside and will take it down before first rain. I keep the hammock inside so the weather doesn't wear it down.

Great for not everyday use.
Call me crazy, but I bought this hammock for my living room. Ive used it for a few months and both my friend who had to stay with me and myself have used it almost daily. Its been a great addition, but sadly it is starting to fray and the rope is stretching quite a bit. If I hadn’t used it daily, I am sure it would have lasted way longer. Its still usable now, but I'm being much more cautious.

Slept in a Nicaraguan hammock for over a year in college. Bought this for my RV travels, but now its in my living room. It supports my weight and I have enough room to be comfy. Not wide enough to get as flat as I like for diagonal sleeping, but i have slept in it. Very comfy. Need to be carful not to let the strings rub on the wing nuts, may just be a tall person problem. Also fits my 4'9 mother but her age makes it difficult to egress. Would buy again

Low Rider- not great for older people
Nice hammock but it rest too low to the ground with me in it. Find it hard to get up from it . Like having to crawl up from the ground. I have it set where it is at it highest and looks fine until i get in it and then i am inches from ground. Thought i would use it everyday and have used it twice.
