Simple, classy upgrade
I was surprised how nice this turned out. It looks great and didn't take long to install. Make sure to start about half of the threading before you pull it over the shift lever. It will make things much easier. Then just pull that area tight and start threading the rest.

Pretty nice cover just minor issues.
It’s a nice product that was pretty simple to install and was a decent fit. The only thing I had an issue with was the logo that comes on the cover it was very low quality so I ended up taking mine off. The instructions it came with are okay but I feel some people might struggle with them especially if they have no previous sewing experience. If the sellers provided a video on how to install I feel that would really help.

I bought this for my 2013 genesis coupe because my old shift leather fell off, it fit like a glove and looks sharp too

Get a different product
Instructions were not easy to follow. Installation was difficult, and not enough string to tie up the cover

Nice product!
My wife helped me install it. She put the needles on each end of the string. She then tied it like a shoe losely then I put it on and tightened it tied it twice then cut the excess string. Looks really good and goes with the GTI interior.

Great quality, difficult to install
Love the look of this product. Good quality leather and thick stringing, but only giving 4 because to lace up the back with the string and needle ourselves was challenging. Especially when it’s on the inside of the gear shift. I wish it was easier to install, or directions were easier to understand, but once we kind of did it to where it worked, it looks great and is very stable.
