Anytime you go fly fishing, it cannot all be bad. The line strength was appropriate for where I was fishing - a medium sized Southern Lake, on the bank or fishing ramp. The line had good taper, and shooting strength was appropriate for light to medium flies. Next time I will experiment with a lighter line. Color was excellent for fish in slightly dingy water.

I got this with the shooting head. It seems to work great, but I haven't tried any of the more expensive brands, so I have nothing to compare it with. Effortless single hand spey casting is easy on my shoulder for sure. I wouldn't say get this brand over the more expensive ones, but I don't think you'd be disappointed if you're trying to learn to spey cast

The welded loop for attaching your shooting head came apart after fighting fish back and forth through the guides. You will need to cut this loop off and whip finish your own loop. Or you might just watch your fish and your expensive shooting head snaking down the river.

These will get the job done. I just don't feel the quality is as good as some of the other options out there and the other lines that I have used.

The line was good ,its bright and to loop held.Nothing wrong with the line. The only reason it gets a 4 star is because it was not on a spool. It had 2 little bread twist ties on it. When i took them off, nail knot it to backing the line tangled took me 1hr to fix.

Luckily I was going to test knot strength before a trip to Mexico. Never got to the knots, I could break this stuff with my bare hands. I got the scale out and the 30 lb. .042 green consistently broke at 17 lbs. Absolute garbage. I'm just glad I didn't loose an expensive shooting head.

Will work excellent for making a floating tenkara fishing line

Good looking line also strong. But, a bit difficult to untangle. It should be spooled.
