Musical Heart Shaped Jewelry Box

My baby girl was turning 2 years old and is obsessed with ballarinas lately so my husband and I wanted to give her a music box for her birthday. Because of her age we didn't want something too expensive becuase chances are good with young kids that they will break anything in a few days. We ordered this music box and she loves it, she literally has been walking around holding it for days. The key on the back is big and wide making it easy for her to turn with her little hands.I do want to point out some people have given this a bad review due to some of the features not being top notch. I will admit that yes the music is a bit clangy and fast, and the materials for this box are not the highest of keepsake quality, but lets be honest here - for this price you are not buying a keepsake. If you want a high end musical box with great sound that will last years and years; or you want something for an older child that is super fancy this is not the music box for you. Spend the extra money and buy a keepsake box.However; if you like me and you just want a cheap music box for a young child that you don't have to care too much about if they break it - then this box is great. It's pretty and works ok; and she LOVES it ! A bonus to us is if it breaks we're not out too much money. When she gets bigger then we'll spend the extra money to get her the super nice long lasting keepsake music box.

my 3 year old really likes this little jewerly box. It is durable enough to last awhile but not forever. It seems priced right. It is big enough for several of her necklaces and rings and such so worked well for us. The ballerina isn't the best quality but she does spin well and the mechanism (music box windings and sound) has been good. It made a nice birthday present for her.

Bought this for our daughter for Christmas, she opened it last night and by this morning she could not turn the key. We noticed it seemed alittle tough before we wrapped it. I would not recommend this to anyone, its cute to look at and i wish it worked, she loved it when she opened it but is sorely disappointed now.

It looks nice and will definitely appeal to young girls. Despite the cardboard construction (which is in line with the relatively low price for a jewelry box), it seems reasonably solid as long as it is not abused.One quibble is that there is no latch on the outside. This is not a major problem if the box sits on a dresser, but if you tilt the box, the lid will open.The biggest problem is that the music is out of tune. It is painful to my ears. Enough for me to want to return it.

Item is not a heavy duty item for daily use, its made of carton but its ok as a keep sake for a young girl.

Very nice little musical box for a little girl, nice colors and classical music, the ballerina works very well. However, I was looking for a box with a more resistant material, this one looks like some sort of cardboard. Also you will have to wind it very often to play the music and the mirror is a plastic piece of paper. It looks well put together anyway.

Bought for my grandaughter that's 4. She loved it. It's larger than expected (very nice size to hold her little tresures). The winding key is larger than on most boxes and very easy for her to turn with her little fingers. She loves the spinning ballarina and the mirror.

When I received the first glance does not like, cardboard material, rough process, another sounds terrible.It is not worth its price.
