5 Stars for performance and functionality, and 5 Stars for Fit, Finish and Aesthetics
The best balance of all factors for choosing a case for your Raspberry Pi. Brought my Temp down by 10°C-12°C This Argon Neo case is the best balance of all. It is refined and professional looking, while still offering access to the GPIO and camera ports. It looks like a finished product, not a project. I've had the CanaKit case, the "Official Raspberry Pi Case", the Argon One and the Flirc - all for Raspberry Pi 3 B+'s. All those cases have there pluses and minuses. (And I'd be fine to use any of them) See below: -Canakit - Cheap, good airflow, well made and allows access to GPIO and ports - a little cheesy looking though with the Raspberry Pi logo cut out of the lid -The "Official RPI Case" by Adafruit - same as above but much nicer looking - although the new ones for RPI 4 seem to only come in pink/white (yuk) - My only real dislike of this case is that the top is curved so you can't stack them (if that even matters) - Flirc - Awesome build quality and similar to Argon Neo for cooling - more work to get to GPIO (4 screws) but has a slot that you can route a ribbon cable through. - I consider this case best for when you know exactly what the RPI's purpose is and you don't need to get inside anymore. (It's silver - I personally prefer the Neo's charcoal) - Argon One - The best if you are using your RPI as a desktop computer or game console - has the best cooling in the form of the case being a heatsink as well as having a fan. The Argon One also has the benefit of a little add-on board the moves all connections to the rear of the case - this is both a cleaner look as well as reducing wear to the plugs on the RPI itself. The Argon One also gives you a power button on the back so you don't need to be always plugging and unplugging power. The only potential drawback to the Argon One is that it is near twice the size of the other cases, but that shouldn't matter if you're using it as intended.

Great Case! Cools Raspberry PI!
Summary: A proper Raspberry PI 4 case with a decent heat spreading passive solution. Good price range and looks nice design wise with a sliding magnetic panel for easy access. Easy assembly. Let me just start off with one main thing I've had with some Raspberry Pi cases of other brands, I've tried out a few other cases before across multiple Pi versions and I've had issues with assembling some of them, either due to the screws or the instructions being off. (Not related to this product) One of the Raspberry Pi 3 cases I tried to install ended up damaging my micro SD card and my port being destroyed. Due to this I needed a proper case that wasn't going to wreck my micro sd card port for my Raspberry Pi 4 when I actually put the case together and or removed the case!. Back to the product, I'm glad however that this case was easy to assemble and the instructions were also rather easy to follow, it's pretty simple steps. I do really like the look of this case, and love the magnet sliding panel it has. One other feature I find neat for future projects is that the case has the GPIO pins labeled. (Also my micro sd card is fine and so is the port!) Since this case is an overall heat sink, it does a decent job keeping the temps perfect, It's running around 48C and this is also with a slightly overclocked CPU frequency + no fans. The case does get warm to the touch which is good because the heat dissipation is working. Without the case, my PI would get pretty hot and sometimes throttle depending on the loads. Overall with the case design. It's slick with the case allowing you to see the indicator lights easily and allows you access to the micro sd card slot. I've noticed some other cases simply don't even allow you to access the micro sd card slot making you have to tear the entire case apart to swap cards. For my needs and first impressions and tests it does check my checklist. If you need a proper case that isn't complicated to install and want a slick case and better cooling. This is the case for the price point.

Good case
It's a nice case with magnetic top cover. I am using it with the argon fan hat. I have it mounted on the wall for a media server and run with the lid off for ventilation.

Compact, runs warm
First off, I like the case, hence 4 stars for my review. It is solid, looks good, and isn't too big. But I have two issues with it. First, during assembly, one of the four screw holes on the bottom stripped. I did not over tighten, the screw just never stopped spinning. The other three holes are fine. Second, for an aluminum (mostly, the bottom tray is plastic) case, it runs warm. Idle temp is consistently 48c and I tested it running a load, two movies playing and consuming 50-70% cpu, the temp peaked at 58.5c, so kinda warm. This is with no fan and the lid on, just for testing purposes. I love my Argon One case, and the Neo is OK for $15, but not 5 star quality or design.

Best Raspberry Pi case for casual use cases - Beware your SD card
Excellent case, by far the best I’ve found for the Raspberry Pi if you don’t need active cooling (I haven’t tested the Argon fan hat yet). Great materials, easy to assemble. Looks awesome, super slim. I ordered the fan hat to see how that works. I have two gripes, however. 1. The lid feels loose and makes noise. Noticeable give like the magnets are super weak. I’d like stronger magnets that really resist you. These aren’t that. 2. If you try to install the bottom with your SD card installed, you will likely break the card. The instructions don’t mention this. I ruined a card with hours of work and configurations — bummer I didn’t write any documentation. Insert your card after you install the case.

When another passively cooled Raspberry Pi case popped up in my recommends list, I had to try it out. The case has three main pieces which was easy to assemble. The top two pieces are aluminum while the bottom piece is translucent plastic. The case does get warm after some use which means the case is working as designed. The case is pretty sturdy but the only possible thing that may be a problem in the future is that the top piece is partially held on by magnets. The magnets may weaken over time so it may slide off in the future (but at least it would be easy to use a piece of tape to keep it in place). If you want a passively cooled case but still have access to the GPIO pins, camera port and/or internal display port, this is the case to get!
