Convenient and effective, simple design idea that works for me
Medisure Steam Inhaler Cup - non electricI had one of these and I lost it, so I bought another one. I have problems with a runny nose, congestion and coughing. Using this helps a lot. I boil water in a glass Pyrex measuring cup in the microwave. I pour the hot water in the inhaler cup and add about 4 drops of eucalyptus essential oil. I put the top on and inhale the steam.I feel relief from the runny nose, etc. I like that it's not electric - this allows me to sit in the living room, holding the cup by the two handles. I can relax and read or watch TV. When it cools down and there is less steam, I pour the water in the Pyrex cup again and reheat in the microwave.I plan to try other essential oils, such as thyme and lavender. You can google what essential oils are good for steam inhalation for treating a runny nose, cough or congestion.

Didn't do as described
This steam inhaler cup would have been a convenient thing if it had really worked. Even though I used very hot water and also added steam vapor liquid to the water, it just did not produce steam through the included nose mask piece. In the product area it states Electric but that is a misprint, it is NOT electric.

Not as expected
the inhaler is very small, does not give much steam. the mask is absolutely unsuitable for use. steam does not enter the mask at all. I breathe steam without a mask, but directly through the hole for the mask.

Great idea just didn't fit my little face
I returned this not because it wasn't good but because it was kinda stiff and to big for my face. Doesn't get hot to the touch, An easy to clean.

Easy Peasy
This simple cup is very convenient to breathe steam in your stuffy nose. Just put in hot water and breathe away anywhere. No need to wait for device to heat up the water or have to near an outlet, to use it or have to remember to keep it charged, etc .Easy to clean. Very clever low tech that works.Be aware you are dealing with hot water. Only fill it up 2/3 of the way.

Worth it! Glad I bought it!
To some people, they may look at this and think, why should I buy that? Why not just use a bowl and a dishtowel over my head? Well, I am very glad I got this. It holds about a cup of water (I haven't measured, just eye-balling it), which is really all you need. I'd been looking at various inhalers when I came across this. Unlike the inhalers I was looking at, because this is essentially a cup with a top on it, you can add any kind of medicine, essential oil, or whatever to the hot water without any restrictions. Some of those inhalers either didn't have a place to add anything extra or you could only add certain things because of the design of the inhaler. I have sinusitis and wanted to take some further measures to try to clear up my sinuses in addition to my supplements and good diet. Also, I don't like having my whole face over a bowl of steam and having all that steam in my face. I really only need it at my nose and mouth anyway, right? And, this may seem silly, but I like to be able to see what's around me and not have my head covered up. Because my head's not covered, I can hold this with a small potholder underneath and continue to read, watch tv, whatever. This makes it much more convenient for me (and I'm more likely to use it more often). And because you only need a small amount of water, it only takes a few minutes to heat enough water to use in it.
