Claeys Old Fashioned Hard Candy, Horehound, 6 Ounce

Bought these only because the smell of them at my grandparents’ farm many years ago made me sick. I wanted my grandkids to experience the whole thing.Sadly, I now love them and just polished off the 4-5th bag since the Holidays. It backfired on me.

I have used these for years. When I get a tickle in my throat I use these and they help better than any logenze on the market.

I was expecting at least a little bitterness from these horehound candies, but there is absolutely none. They do taste great, but for those looking for that old-fashioned bitter horehound tea flavor of yore, look elsewhere.

My old mama loves a good whore hound. She says they’re great. Also back in her day, they cost a penny;)

I have been enjoying Horehound hard candy since childhood. I first purchased Claeys in January and just received my second bag and it will have a regular place in my pantry. It is good as any that I have tried and better than most and a price point that I like.

I might as well been sucking on a rock. No flavor
