Got2b Schwarzkopf Inplay Sculpt Hair Paste, 2.0 Ounce (Pack of 2)

I have a short woman's hairstyle and very thick hair with a couple of poorly placed cowlicks. This is by far my favorite hair paste. It keeps my hair in place but doesn't get hard and crunchy, nor does it make my hair feel goopy. Unlike a lot of hair pastes, it has a gender-neutral smell that is pretty faint once the product is in my hair (other pastes either made me smell like a man or were so floral and overwhelming that I couldn't wear my favorite perfume oil).

I have been using this product for years, and it's my go to hair styling product. I'm a guy with short black hair on the back and sides. I use it to give a matte texture to my hair to make it messy/slightly spiky look. It is a perfect product for my hair style needs, it's not too moist that it feels all wet on your head all day. When I put this on, it's perfectly matte and malleable all day, so it doesn't dry out either. I will use this for the rest of my life!

My favorite hair pomade/paste. I have tried quite a few and this one works best for me. Be sure that your hair is damp before applying, not wet and not dry but damp. It works best that way for me and has a good hold, doesn't feel greasy. I like it because your hair isn't crunchy like with hair gels, remains pliable but holds in place well.

I've been using this product for years and either Dial changed the formulation or this is fake. I have two pictures here showing my last container (and product that I'm used to) on the left and the new one on the right.. the new one is lighter in color and texture, less waxy. The labels are also different, but I'm not sure if that means much. Regardless, like the original formula better- this seems like that cheap watery stuff that gets stiff and then practically evaporates from your hair leaving it feel like it's been sprayed with Aquanet.

My son, 13 uses this and his head does occasionally look like he smeared vaseline on it. But if he's careful, very nice holding power/styling gel. He would highly recommend.
