This cloche is a perfect combo of rustic and Refined. The glass dome is thick and heavy. The base is very lightweight, but the glass fits snugly, making it seem very secure.I’m so happy with this purchase.

When hubs gifted me with an exquisite handmade book, the search began for a perfect combination of 'look' and protection in a display platform. Needed something that would accommodate the 6 1/2"H x 5"W x 1 1/2 "D dimensions of the book, preferably tilted on an easel. This large glass cloche is it!Everything about this unit appeals, from the distressed-wood-and-metal handmade appearance to the substantial glass 'bell'. The added bonus of the 'handle' at the top not only enhances that appearance, but makes it easy to lift the bell without getting fingerprints all over it. <smile>Does proper justice to my precious book and it's little easel, it does. Displayed and protected even better than I'd hoped.Sidebar: A lot of reviews mentioned dimensions, so I measured, too. The Large unit is 12 1/2 " from top of handle to bottom of stand. Outside diameter of stand is 8 1/2 ", inside diameter is 7 5/8". Bottom diameter of cloche is 7 1/8". The inside height of cloche from center bottom to center top is 8 1/2", but the sides of the cloche begin to curve inward toward the top at about 7 1/2 " from the bottom.So, would I recommend this item? Oooooh yeah!

Using this with plants to give more humidity. Very helpful, it's very pretty and rustic.

Wanted a cloche to display a treasured Christmas ornament. This product is well-made, sturdy w thick glass, w a quaint wooden stand.However, it is not large enough for my ornament. But I will use this to display something else.

Just what I need to cover my pteranodon that I carved/created. Beautiful antique display. Thick glass cover offers great protection.

Absolutely perfect! Everything you put in here looks magnified and special. So happy with this purchase. My gingerbread man is about 8 inches high, and fit beautifully. Love all the things u can do with this. Great quality and craftsmanship.

This is super cute and exactly as pictured. The wooden base isn’t solid. It’s got a cut out underneath so it’s light in weight. It’s perfect for a pair of decorative piglet soaps I want on display in my farmhouse kitchen. It’s small. So don’t buy this thinking you can put something large in it. Just for general sizing, I’d say don’t try storing anything bigger than an oversized muffin width wise and no taller than a bathroom hand soap bottle height wise. It’s perfect for cute little trinkets.
