Only negative is the shoulder strap is WHITE, can you believe that! I'm an operator and using it on a construction site, grease and dirt are my staple. It's even high visibility orange so they gotta know better.It's the perfect size to fit in the floor of my equipment, holds 2 flat freezer cold things and all the food I need. Could even get a couple water bottles in it. Keeps cold in my AC cab, probably not out in The sun tho. Will be great in the kayak, as I'm sure it will float. Road trip this weekend, still cold after a 17 hr drive, actually was about 24 hours with a 2hr nap and pee stops. Dogs can't get in it either.The best place for hard hat stickers too.

My husband wanted a sturdy lunch box for his long work days. This is it. It’s durable and has a comfortable strap for when his hands are full and a handle when they’re not. It’s air tight, so no water gets in and it stays cold/hot inside. It also has a little shelf/tub thing at the top for extra snacks at the top. Great price. Will be buying a larger cooler for our camping trips.

(7.5 quart) Fits perfectly in the tiny locker at my work. Keeps my stuff cold all night working in a hot warehouse. I wanted black but it didn’t come in this size but the coral color is pretty bright so I never accidentally forget it. Haha.A little pricey, but it’s hard to find something in a similar style that isn’t garbage or heavy as hell.Only thing I wish it had was the ability to be locked so I could leave it out and just secured to a locker or something. But other than that, pretty top notch all around.

Solid build water tight and plenty of room for good size lunch few and a few drinks. Working in construction the size of lunch box is compact enough to fit in most heavy equipment cabs and is durable for the conditions on a job site.Love it and is worth every cent.

Update: 5/11/2021Put this thing to the cold test starting yesterday. I use 3 small Cooler Shock pouches (which fit nicely on all 4 walls) and a regular small ice block on the bottom of the box with a frozen bottle of water on top. So far my stuff has stayed cold through at least 8 hours in a climate controlled car but it definitely won't be living up to 2 days of keeping food cold if you're outside or in the sun directly. The pouches melt down faster than they would in a more insulated box. And after 5 hours my water bottle has melted down by 30% But it does what it was intended to for me.First of all, this thing arrived FAST. It was scheduled for deliver next week but showed up today so that's awesome.Second of all: this review is subject to change over the course of my relationship with this product. Below you will find my immediate thoughts prior to actually putting this box to use.I have an RTIC 60 qt ice chest and wanted a hard box with some insulation to carry snacks, food, waters, etc. since I work in the field all day 11 hour shifts, and don't really have a set time for when I can take a lunch.I ordered from Amazon because after looking at Engel's website, it would have been around 70 dollars shipped for this box. This is not a 70 dollar box. 50 is feasible given how nice the construction is and the features, but 25 dollars (estimated) for shipping was more than I could digest. I could see it if it was a heavy item but this is not heavy by any means. It is built pretty rock solid though!The construction is very nice. I love the drop in tray feature and they definitely paid attention to the details when designing this little baby. The lip of the tray is notched to fit nicely into notches on the corner inner rim of the box.The buckles and latches are very well done and appear to be durable. Bonus points for the fact that you can replace them! If you go on the Engel website, you can buy upgraded metal hinges for the back. I think the plastic ones are quite sturdy so I'll stick with that until they start showing wear.The plastic is good density. I will say it was much thinner in the walls than I was expecting but I'm hoping it still insulates better than a lunch bag. I have some Cooler Shock small pouches that will fit in this nicely, not take up much space, and if all else fails I can still fit a small insulated lunch bag in here easily for added effect.This is easily portable and holds regular sized bottles of water easily. I used said bottles of water for scaled view of its size.The handle is pretty heavy duty for plastic and it is seated pretty well. It also folds down flush into the lid.All in all this is a great box. I will update this review once I put it to the cold test.

Works great

Solid cooler, extremely well built, only problem I have is it's hard to find a ice pack that fits well and doesn't make packing around it difficult. But that's not a cooler issue. One icepack will last a slick 12 hours no problem.

These look cool for a cooler but they don't have the desired cooling properties that I look for in an every day work cooler. If you're storing the cooler indoors during an 8 hr work day then it will keep your food cool and look cool while cooling it. But if you're storing it outdoors on a 12 hr work day then you might want to opt for a less cool looking cooler. A cheap igloo cooler works far better than this expensive trendy cool looking cooler. But the hinges, handle, and locks are very robust and I expect this cool cooler to last for many years of daily cooling.
