Bowens BW-2914 Fresnel 200 Spot Attachment (Black)

Overall, the product is fantastic, but it is from the United Kingdom. I don't think they have the same Bowens mount as the current modern flashes and LED lights. The Bowens mount will fit into place, but it will not twist to lock because there are screws below the Bowens tabs that prevent the locking twist. It broke my heart to return this item, and I tried even to find an adapter, but I could not find one that worked. In the end I had to go with another brand but this metal Fresnel lens would have been my number one choice. Had it fit my lights.

I was very, very much hoping to use this with a Balcar to Bowens adapter on my Alien Bees light. It is well built, had a large Fresnel lens and an aperture adjustment. However i could not get it to mount on the adapter, or another light with a Bowens S-mount (or at least I was told it was a Bowens S mount light). So I sadly had to return it. If you can get it to fit, it is well built and looks to be very useful where you want a spotlight with variable aperture control which adjusts the size of the spot. This would give you far more control than a simple snoot, for lighting.
