X-ACTO Z Series Light-Weight Replacement Blade, No 11, 4-7/8 in L, Stainless Steel Blade, Gold Hue, Pack of 5

They're X-Acto blades. You know exactly what you're getting here. They're the "standard" #11 hobby blade style and they are definitely sharp. I don't know if I can say that I notice a difference between the standard blade and the Z-series blade, but I will say that they **SEEM TO** last longer or at least stay sharper longer than the standard ones. Whether that's just placebo effect or not remains to be seen, but they do a great job. I use mine for crafty-type things like cutting paper, adhesive label paper, and trimming and weeding vinyl and so far no complaints.

Big improvement over regular Xacto blades, takes some getting used to. Blades are more flexible so controlling the cut takes a lighter touch. These are sharper and stay sharper longer and are well worth the extra cost, IMO. Tips still can be broken off, but not as easily as standard blades. We're on our third box of 100 and will not go back to the same old blades.

These #11 blades can fit in any X-Acto 'A' handle, like the X-ACTO Z Series #1 Knife with Cap.These are Z series blades, which means they are "Zirconium Nitride-coated", and are sharper than regular X-Acto blades. You can tell the difference by the subtle gold-colored edge on the blade. It cuts very well and requires care when cutting as it is really sharp. The blades are stored safely in a provided plastic case.These blades are a good option for those that want sharper blades that don't have to be replaced as often. Recommended.

They work great. Sharp and a nice point. I read the reviews and wanted a blade that had a well formed tapered point.The other models and cheaper ones had a point that did not bevel at the tip.For fine work and a sharp dagger type cut, you need a sharp beveled tip.These do the job. They fit the blade and work.They do hold the edge and are sharp.It would be nice, as noted, if different style blades were made in this design

These are the blades for my X-Acto knife of choice, the Z series. The zirconium nitride coated blades are sharper and more durable than the ones I used years ago with the older X-Acto knife models. The 5-pack will last quite awhile. I highly recommend these blades, and the X-Acto Z series knife itself for ease of use and comfort in handling. These are high quality tools that will last a long time and serve you well.

I'm getting my associates in Comm Design and always need a good blade because of projects. These X- Acto blades are really good they stay sharp longer then the regular blades it comes with. I know I can count on my blades with the gold stripe to still be sharp and cut through to make my projects

Needed something more reliable and durable for cardboard box cutting. So far, it has been a time saver and cuts great!

Unless i am going to do something which i know may destroy a blade, i stick to Z series. They are far sharper and last far longer. My only wish is that they made them in other styles.
