beautiful fabric, description a bit confusing
The description states "This Fabric is 44''/45'' inch in (W) X 180" inch Or 5 yard (L) . Each order comes in 1 full length piece. For example, if you order a quantity of 1, you will receive a 5 yard pieceThis fabric is sold by the yard and cut to order. Means Sold in continuous yards"You could take this either meaning if you order two, you get two pieces of 5 yards, OR if you order two you get one piece of 10 yards. I unfortunately took it to mean the latter and was disappointed when two 5 yard pieces arrived. However I can make this work for my project so am not disappointed. The fabric is absolutely gorgeous, lightweight, soft to touch and the color is true to the picture shown. (edited to correct for 10 yards ordered)

Floaty, not stiff. Blue, not teal.
On a good note, this was shipped super fast!On a disappointing note, this was a far more blue than I feel the picture represents and also, I would not consider this a teal as much as just a blue. What I received has barely any green tones in it at all (at least indoor light wise) and I will include a photo in both lighting types to help others.Lastly, this isn’t a bad thing because it comes off more expensive, but it’s not what I was expecting therefore it can’t use it for what I had planned to. This is a very light weight organza, do not expect something like a full Poly, stiffer situation, like what you would find in a Joanns. This could be because it’s so hot, and when I opened the package the fabric was quite warm. If something changes in the near future I will definitely follow up with an edit to my review.Update: Natural light seems to help with the overall effect of the color. Not what I was hoping for but I dont have time to reorder so I’ll be purchasing something in person instead.

Great quality and price. True to color. Transparent.
Pros: Very soft! Slight shimmer/shine! Close to color pictured (I ordered blush pink—the pictures make it look slightly more yellow than it actually does in person) Beautiful color IF layered/ruffled up; layering really brings out the true color. Arrived early even though it was shipped internationally! SUPER INEXPENSIVE compared to stores like Joanne’s where it’s $10 a yard... This was basically less than $1 per yard.Cons: VERY transparent as a single layer. if you don’t layer/ruffle it, it basically looks clear and see through. The fabric is very light weight—it falls slower than a feather. If you’re looking for a dense apparel fabric, this wouldn’t be it. Static electricity builds quickly on your body. But it will make a beautiful overlay fabric on apparel or a decorative filler fabric for a craft/table decoration/etc.Overall: True to color/shine, quality feel and material, soft, beautiful color when layered on top of itself, lightweight, great price.

Good deal, but with some reservations
Don't know if the pictures will really show this well but this is the coarsest organza I've ever seen. the weave is such there's constant lines running through it; not runs, it's just like the threads aren't evenly woven, which gives it a very noticeable "liney" texture when it reflects light. It reminds me a bit of those kids fairy fabrics with iridescent mylar threads run through them, except this is the same threads throughout. On top of that, the whole thing is a mess of loose threads, the entire selvedge is full of LONG dangling threads that may cause pulls if you're not careful. The color isn't 100% accurate, it's a bit darker than the product photo. On the other hand! You also get what you pay for and when I bought this the 15 yards amounted to less than $2/yd so I can't be but so upset since it will suffice for my needs. Just, if you're planning it for a super special purpose, buy a small amount first and make sure it works for you.

Not suitable for gowns
This material was great for what I wanted it for. We needed draping material to decorate the pergola for my son's wedding. However, there were several flaws in the material and I would not recommend it for use in making a gown. One huge flaw ran almost the entire length of the piece. It was about 5 inches from the edge and could have been worked around but there were other smaller ones throughout the piece.

On a positive the fabric is of good quality and there is no chemical smell
The color is NOT ivory. It’s a light yellow. I’m covering a wedding arch so I can make it work. I also ordered the cream and that is even more yellow. And you have to pay for return shipping if the product doesn’t work out.On a positive the fabric is of good quality and there is no chemical smell.

Weaving defects
The color of the organza fabric is as shown, but the quality is not perfect. There are many spots with weaving defects, little wholes, lines. The fabric is flimsy, too soft.

Overall ok fabric BUT....
Fabric came in good time is nice and shiny but as I began to work with fabric I noticed my sewing machine had a reddish tint is then that I realized this fabric is going to bleed badly. So please wash or dip in cold water with vinegar and salt to save yourself a headache.
