Meet The Sight Words - Level 3 - Easy Reader Books (Boxed Set of 12 Books)

Purchased this for my grandson, it was requested for the his P-k class. he learned to read with these books. I love how easy it was for him to work with the book. he is older now and my younger grandchildren are using the books. Well worth any cost.

Great series to teach your little one how to read. I purchased to help my granddaughter and her reading has improved significantly.

I love, love, love the Meet the Sight Word series. I’ve been using the movies and books on my now 5-year-old and it has done wonders. The text is simple and clear and each level builds on the last. I’m so proud of how far he’s come in his reading. The coloring book was also a hit!

These books are terrific. Based on other reviews I only got the third set that contains all the words from the three DVDs and I really do like them. Somehow every sentence is made from mostly sight words, which means it's great practice of all the words. I'm sure you're all familiar with Level 1 readers that have a few sight words sprinkled throughout the book with most of the words being longer, sound-out types that make it more difficult for a budding reader. Even books aimed at being "sight word" helpers don't typically include very many sight words. These books actually have a lot of the words in them, in easy sentences, with engaging story lines. I actually like them better than Bob books. Totally worth the money.

We started out with the four basic DVDs from Preschool Prep when my first child was about 6months old. Before she was two years old, she knew all her basic shapes, numbers, colors, and letters. We then bought the larger DVD collection that included letter sounds, sight words, and phonics. At three years old, she is now reading some easy read books, can spell some words and sound them out on her own, and is beginning to learn how to write. Preschool Prep has been a great tool and we have loved all the products. These easy reader books were a great addition to the growing book shelf of Preschool Prep items. I plan to homeschool both of our children and have now started my 10 month old watching the DVDs. I highly recommend purchasing the books, workbooks, and flashcards to accompany the DVDS. It makes so much more sense to the child if all the material matches.

These have been an excellent tool to support our daughter as she learns to read. The books go along with the set of videos, however you don't have to have the videos to get the advantage of the books. A friend bought us set 1, and we've expanded to set 2 and 3 (which get progressively more challenging by small increments). Our daughter feels extremely accomplished as she reads through the books, and the repetition of many of the words has helped her grow her reading vocabularly quickly. There's a sense of success when she doesn't have to stop every 3rd word (in harder books) to hear from us what the word is or to sound it out-- and that has made her excited to read these books to us- more so than any other books. My elementary kiddos love these books as much as I do. Great purchase. Easy to read, understand and simplified ways to advance skills in a very non overwhelming and clean look.
