THE SHORT STORY: First time I've felt quick relief of my allergic asthma symptoms in over 5 years. I LOVE this product and will order more to keep a bottle at work, home and in my backpack. All natural and extremely helpful, I love it, love it, love it!!! THE REST OF THE STORY: I have been suffering from allergic asthma for about 5 years now (I'm 53). If I get exposed to one of the agents to which I'm allergic (dogs, wood smoke, heavy air pollution, some perfumes, stirred up household dust, machining oil or if I consume liquid or soft uncooked dairy) I can suffer symptoms ranging from tightness in my throat and/or excessive mucus production to, at worst, great difficulty breathing. When a strong attack hits, I'm unable to breathe well enough to walk without great difficulty, and find I'm only able to sit upright, support myself on my elbows (on the arms of the chair or on something like a desktop) and breathe in clean air. I have gone for hours like this, only able to sit uncomfortably while waiting for the symptoms to pass. I looked into rescue inhalers but was told they are not recommended for people with risks of possible heart issues. And while I don't have any known heart issues, I didn't want to take the chance. While I've identified and learned how to avoid/filter out most of the allergens that trigger me, and went for 6 months earlier this year with no attacks, after the mold and woodsmoke season returned to our area, allergic attacks became a problem again. And for those times when I get an attack, I have been really frustrated by the lack of convenient, safe options available to me to relieve my symptoms. It has not been uncommon for me to lose a day or two from my weekend or work schedule when a severe attack sets in. NOT acceptable. I set up an appointment to see a Naturopathic doctor to see if they had some natural options I could try, but as their schedule was rather booked up, I had to wait two weeks to get in. I didn't want to wait that long for relief if another attack struck, so I did some research on line for natural options I could buy over the counter. That's how I stumbled on this product on Amazon and read several promising reviews that convinced me to try Respire as a natural source of relief for my asthma. I am TOTALLY DELIGHTED in the results. At the first sign of asthma symptoms I place a drop or two of these essential oils on my fingertip, rub them into my mustache or goatee under my nostrils or mouth and in minutes I find I'm breathing MUCH clearer. Using the oils also seems to prevent the onset of a reaction when I'm exposed to questionable quality air. The relief begins immediately and continues rapidly until I'm able to breathe clearly after about 10 to 15 minutes. It's amazing. When I did get in to see the Naturopath, I mentioned that I was using this product and, given my description of the results I was having, she supported my continued use of it and did not recommend any alternatives or additional remedies or treatments. While I am not in a position to recommend remedies to others, I can say I will continue to use this product and plan to order more.

Very glad this arrived quickly because I have been having a dry cough and my asthma has been flaring up and I read such good reviews I figured it’s worth a try. 10/13/21 Received today in the mail. I was having a coughing fit and almost threw up it was so bad and I just been having Tirunelveli catching my breath today. I have weird allergies to perfume and bleach and smoke and things like that so when I have more than a very brief exposure I suffer and then the asthma gets going and I just do not want to use chemicals if possible because I swear it makes it worse over time. So my neighbor (seriously nice people.. they don’t mean harm) got a fire pit and has been outside in the evenings burning in it and the last couple nights the smoke has come over into my house so it set me off. I saw good reviews on this so I figured it’s worth a try. When I got it I opened the bottle and it smells strong and very eucalyptus like and a little bit like vicks rub. Since I have been so ill I figured I will just put some on a cloth and tuck it in my shirt and see how that goes. I have been sitting here breathing it in now for over an hour and it’s really helping. I coughed a few times and it cleared my chest a good deal and my nasal passages are definitely opened. Still a little wheezing and cough a bit but it’s a lot better than it has been for days. Going to sleep with the cloth in my shirt overnight and see how that goes. I will update and I will also try it in steamer and a diffuser and with some carrier oil. I haven’t taken any medicine.. just relying on this oil on a cloth. No greasy film or anything noticeable either. Someone says that means it’s pure but really I don’t know much about oils. I am just desperate to find something that works and isn’t prescription or chemicals. It definitely seems to be loosening up phlegm some and it’s helped my cough a good amount. I was about to use rescue inhaler so that may help you judge how I was feeling vs now. Stay tuned..

My asthma has been out of control for at least three weeks. My doctor had me on Qvar, albuterol inhaler, flow name is, antihistamines and none of these things were helping my breathing to get any better. I decided to try and find something else that might be able to give me back my breathing and my life. I looked on Amazon for a cool mist diffuser and some essential oils to help my breathing. I tried this bottle of essential oils and literally just breeze didn't straight from the bottle and it was the first time that I was able to breathe consistently and even take deep breath's. I would highly recommend getting this product for anyone who has asthma. I have actually replaced my inhaler with this product. I simply breathe it in straight from the bottle and it completely clears up my lungs breathing and takes away any dry, Tight, or congested coughing that I can't seem to stop. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this after reading reviews from people stating that this was helpful to them, so I tried it out. It did help with the bronchitis I occasionally suffer from due to my sinuses and allergies, however it does not stand alone as a great sinus reliever. I still have watery eyes, still break out in hives and still sneeze if I do not take over the counter medications. May be useful for people with very light allergies. For people who are like me, who have very very severe allergies, this is good to clear your nasal passages and breathing, but you will still need to take allergy medication. This won't cure allergies nor provide relief on its own.
