Almost identical to the leading major brand, and a better value - the only thing missing is the badge on the front (which looks nicer, IMO). The thin clear plastic insert with a nice size tray size and a single cup holder is a huge bonus (regular paper coffee cup size, which she puts her drinks in with a sipping lid). Very easy to assemble. It includes 5 matching white Velcro straps that you can position and tighten to your preference. In the week or so since we purchased and installed, it holds any reasonable amount of weight and items that you would safely try to put in a basket on the front of a walker. The basket itself seems like it is good quality and design for the price, and lightweight considering the materials and size. I am confident that it will last and continue to be a convenient solution for my family member, and keep her safe while being able to keep some of her independence and carry little things from one place to another. Overall, very helpful and would be very easy to clean, if anything were to ever spill inside the tray. Just be smart with what you decide to carry in it and which items you combine. It’s designed to transport phones, snacks, other small items, and a light cup (I obviously would not recommend a heavy mug filled to the brim with a beverage, since that is not what it is intended for - but it works great with sippy cups, cans, bottles, or small/medium paper or plastic cups with a lid, or half-full if no lid). So far, so good here.

Update (March 2022)I am STILL using this basket on the same walker, 6.5 years later! I was checking to see if this basket is still available because the plastic insert has been duct taped a quite a few times and is about ready for the trash bin. I was super excited to discover that I can buy the insert alone. I would have repurchased the whole thing, otherwise. Since the basket itself is still in pretty good shape - only slightly dinged up - I'm much happier to just buy the insert. Thanks, HealthSmart!Original Review (November 2015)I've looked at pretty much all of the walker baskets on Amazon. Some accessories, like trays that fit over the handles, won't work for my walker (Drive Medical Deluxe Folding Walker) due to the high placement of the top cross bar. The curvature of the cross bar below seemed like it could be a problem for most of the baskets I looked at, so basket height and fastening methods were important factors for me.This basket is PERFECT. The height is perfect - it sits on top of the lower cross bar and the top edge meets the top of the upper cross bar. I only needed the three shorter velcro strips to attach the basket firmly, one at the middle of the bottom and two on the top. I didn't bother with the two longer velcro strips for the sides of the basket because it was already pretty secure. I think they would only be needed if the basket wasn't resting on the crossbar, to keep if from swinging. Also, to center the basket if you have a wider walker.The basket is sturdy and well made. The insert is nice and will hold a standard coffee cup, accommodating for the handle. I tend to use bigger mugs and water bottles so the cup holder part doesn't really work for me. They do fit in the other part of the tray though, so I put the smaller items I carry (pens, electronic wipes, eye drops, headset, etc) into the cup holder instead. Right now, it's holding my water bottle, tablet, smartphone, a magazine and all the aforementioned doodads.I'm super pleased with this purchase. If I have anything to add after using the basket for a while, I'll update this review.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to clean and has great storage. Good value for the quality of the product. Very durable and easy to attach except for the gliders they didn’t fit but it is easy to use.

Works great but our walker had a curved front handle, so we had to adjust area of basket an use more velcro than provide to keep basket from flopping around. Love it anyways.

I was glad to find this item so I could carry things hands free while using my walker. The wire basket is great: sturdy and roomy enough. The disappointing part was the plastic insert to keep items from falling through. It is a flimsy plastic and won't hold up. I'm not even sure at this point if it will hold a hot cup without melting.

My elderly mother uses a walker all day and all she kept saying is I cannot hold the phone or carry anything with me because I have to hold onto the walker. While trying to find something to get her for Christmas I suddenly decided to google walker basket and was shocked to see that they do exist! I reviewed many on Amazon and really liked how this one you could adjust it to where or how you wanted it, and the fact that it came with a sturdy plastic cupholder inside of it was what really caught my attention because how can you carry or hold a drink while walking with a walker?This was one of the BEST decisions I have made and the best choice to get this. Very easy to install and very strong Velcro ties that do not loosen up or come undone. My mother was beyond excited to get this and shocked that they made something like this. She is now able to make herself coffee and put it in the basket and walk into the other room to sit down, she puts her food in it to transport it to the table and anything else she needs to take with her as she walks. The tray comes out so its supper easy to clean if anything was to spill but I will say it is very sturdy and has not had any spills. This basket has really helped and improved the everyday functions for my mother, and I am so thankful I found this and purchased this. This one is the BEST get it for your loved one to help them feel more independent and confident.
