100% worth it, easy to use & makes your paint work go from an 8 to a 10. Can be used by hand or with a rotary & foam pads, be sure to wet sand clear coat first however.

I used this product and it worked very well. Puts a shine back into any paint or plastic that is dull. Not a lot of hard buffing needed to bring out a shine. Highly recommend.

I purchased TAMIYA Polishing Compound Fine and Finish SET to repair some scratches on a gloss finish carbon bike frame. After using two variants of fine grade wet sand paper to level off and smooth the scratches, I used the Tamiaya compound products with a micro fiber cloth to polish the affected areas. The results were great. The scratches were gone and the frame looked good as new. There are YouTube videos that demonstrate the entire process. One of them recommended the use of Tamiya compound products. Based on my own experience, I can also highly recommend Tamiya compound products for this use case.

Does a very good job when using all 3 grades.

When paired with the coarse polishing compound, these two can transform scratched up clear model parts ass if they were fresh out of the box. All it takes is some time and patience.

This compound is amazing. I read a forum on sunglasses on how to remove light scratches on shiny black frames and some people said it works great. I tried in on a pair of oakley holbrooks and they came out looking brand new if you apply it properly in the correct order and rinsing off with water between each step. I had couple deeper scratches that wouldn't come out all the way so I ordered the red tube of this same brand along with the 3 colored matching cloths they recommended. After starting over with the red course tube and then the other two fine and finish compounds they came out brand new looking. Check that your glasses aren't painted before you try this or you could ruin your frames. There's YouTube videos on how to apply it properly without causing cross contamination from the more coarse grit compounds used prior to next steps.

I've been using real car polishing compounds for my kits, but they honestly don't work as well as this. The Tamiya polishing and finish compound is incredibly smooth and easy to apply. You see the shine almost instantly. Another bonus is that it leaves no residue, even between the panel lines. As per usual, Tamiya products can be a bit pricey, but their high quality is worth every penny. I recommend using Tamiya's color coded applicator wipes. A definitive must in any hobbyist's tool kit!

I use this polish to polish my vintage fountain pens to remove minor scratches and marks, perhaps a little on the expensive side but does produce excellent results.The tubes seem small but they will last a long time if used as directed

Product arrived earlier than expected. Tried it out right away on a couple models and it worked great. Will definitely be using this from now on. There aren’t many instructions for how to use it on the box but check out some videos online to figure it out.
