Fun and Useful, but may not be Dishwasher Safe!
I bought these because my kids kept stealing the "big people" chopsticks when we order sushi or Chinese food. They boys are 5 and 7, so I don't expect them to have the dexterity to use real chopsticks any time soon. What I was looking for from these was: a) fun, and b) improvement of their fine-motor skills. NOTE: While appreciably easier than regular chopsticks, these still require a little work.So far, the boys love them. They've been used for almost every meal we've had since we got them. (If I had known, I'd have bought them for the sheer humor factor: imagine a 5-year-old trying to eat spaghetti with chopsticks and you'll know what I'm talking about)Just one thing: there wasn't anything on the package about whether they are dishwasher safe. We put them in the dishwasher, in the top rack, in a dishwasher-safe basket that we use for such things. One of the chopsticks got warped to the point where it was unusable. Bummer. All of the others were fine, so maybe this was a fluke. I don't know for sure.Regardless, I recommend these (again, if only for the humor!)--------------------------------------------------------------A Quick Update: I received a package in the mail the other day -- a brand new set of Holdstix, with a note (hand-written!) that says "Sorry about the warped Holdstix. Please accept this replacement.", and signed by "Lynn". It's important to note that I didn't call them, or email, or whatever. All I did was submit my review.Wow.This tells me two things: a) the company is actually reading customer reviews, AND b) they are doing something when they read the reviews. Many companies don't take the time to gather passive customer feedback, and those that do gather such info don't often do anything active / positive with it. Compac obviously views customer feedback as important, AND they are acting on it.Again: Wow.Yes, I'd recommend this product, AND THIS COMPANY, to my friends.

Great Beginners Chop Sticks!
These are great beginners Chop Sticks. I bought them for my 5 year old son who could not hold and use the wooden ones that he would see my husband and I use at the Japanese restaurant we frequent. The restaurant staff would often give him the "homemade" chopsticks made with a folded piece of paper and a rubberband. We wanted something for home too. These beige plastic chopsticks come in a set of four with different colors accented in them. The center has a round plastic disk which allows for the chopsticks to bend and flex.I think these are great for anyone learning to use chopsticks. My son can now easily pick up his food when we get takeout or in restaurants. I recommend them.

Great idea!
I bought these for my husband who can not master how to use chopsticks. He has tried for many years and just cant. So I decided to surprise him with these at our favorite Korean restaurant. After a few minutes he was eating with these successfully. I wish i would have bought them sooner! My husband loves tgese so much he is trying to use them at every meal. I hope after awhile he can try the regular chopsticks.

Bought these for my 4 year old daughter. These do not work. They don't line up and are pretty flimsy. I've found other things that work better than this. Don't waste your money.

Great for Kids and Beginngers
My husband prefers to eat our Chinese using Chopsticks, and he wants to encourage the kids to try them, so I ordered these. My kids love using them and playing with them, and I've even tried them myself. (I'm actually okay with chopsticks) I recommend these for anyone who wants to figure out how to use chopsticks. Thanks for reading!

Great (especially if you’re left handed!)
These are adorable and (fairly) easy for my two children to use. My three year old has a little trouble as they are a bit large for his hands, but my 5 year old has no problem at all. The pics on the chopsticks are cute as well. My only small complaint is that they seem to be “left handed chopsticks” (not a detail mentioned in the description) in that when my two right handed children use them, the pics are upside down.

We have had these Chopsticks for over 6 years now. My kids still reach for them, sometimes they go in school lunches! They are pretty durable as we have only broken one set of the 4, and really it was stepped on in the lunch room so its fate was likely sealed. They are really fun to use to, kids will eat almost anything with chopsticks because they are fun.
